9:25 Interesting "myth" that I didn't know was shown there: the Empress projectiles turned yellow upon it becoming day. I thought that existing rainbow projectiles would stay rainbow and she would start firing new yellow ones.

I believe the yellow ones are the one shot ones. While the rainbow ones are the one that deal less damage. However I can't remember if the empress does other attacks that are still rainbow colored while she's big mad

The interesting thing is that the yellow and rainbow projectiles are likely the same projectile that changes colour and damage when it becomes day, as opposed to different projectiles that are created at day or night respectively.

The particle limit just changes what you see, so you don’t crash. The projectiles would still exist, you just wouldn’t see them all.

Myth: The clentaminator will still purify blocks on the opposite side of falling sand, when the projectile of the clentaminator is not visible.

it will, because the clentaminator's projectile is purely a particle effect (and the particle effect limit is being hit by the falling sand) so it allocates the particles to the sand instead of the clentaminator (but it doesn't change the function of where the beam would be)

Torch god is an event which got added on 1.4.0.5 and if you stack a 100 torches in 1 place the torches will start shooting until they are all off then you get torch gods favor which if you go to the biome instead of normal torch it will give you a biome specific which increase luck but it can only be sommoned underground

confirmed, kinda. me and my friend are doing an upside down (and master + ftw [help]) playthrough, and so we found that if you grapple into it it will break a few blocks, but just standing/walking/jumping wont.

Would probably despawn, since you need to be within a certain distance for it to spawn. It would also probably spawn when the bomb lands on the larvae and not when it actually explodes.

So about the clemtaminator: When you tried to spray the falling ebonsand, the projectiles were still there; the problem lies in the dust as in the video all the ebonsand should've been producing dust, except only about the first 4 columns were producing it. Dust limit isn't the same as projectile limit. Hope this helps.

4:30 Yeah, that's the particle limit, projectile itself is fired, but particles are shown. The same thing sometimes happens (at least it happened in 1.3) when spamming Water Bolt - after there are too many Bolts, they start to get more "narrow" and more translucent, because they are built of less particles.

Depends on the definition of “spawn”. If you mean approaching/arriving, then busted, why would a lava surface prevent random events. If you mean event monsters spawning, then confirmed, but they follow the same spawn rules as any other monster. I don’t like this myth.

I think I might know what happen with the Ebonsand and clemtimator, there’s probably some kind of limit for how many particle affects can spawn within a certain proximity of one another, which is why the particles disappeared when the sand was falling but appeared again when there was less sand

The clentaminator's spray effect is done using particles. There is a limit of how many particles can be rendered, which was all used up by the falling sand entities. What sprays biomes from the clentaminator is a projectile, which is invisible, but still spawns, hence the sound and the solution being used up.

The clentaminator failing to spray solution at 4:20 is because of Terraria's dust limit: the game only renders upto a set number of "dust"s (basically all kinds of visual effect particles like fire) before it gives up. The streams from weapons like the clentaminator and the flamethrower are all made of dusts, and the sand blocks were spawning their own as they fell, so once they entered the screen your clentaminator's dusts weren't rendered. It's just a visual thing, though - the weapon itself was still working.

What you did with the pillar, When the background changes, it’s the same for a solar eclipse. I’m on console and left the world during a solar eclipse and the sun had changed. Same for when I loaded back in.

More info on the torch god, the point of the torch god's favor is that if you have (say for example) a green torch (or whatever the hell it's called) in the jungle biome, you get a special effect. I forget what the effect does but i think it may be something to do with luck

4:36: Not a projectile limit, but a particle limit, same happens when you try to spam firework rockets, some of them just don't get an explosion or have an explosion with a lot of the particles missing, the clentaminator beam was there, but the particles just didn't show in order to not crash the game.

4:40 there is a particle limit which the clentaminator's ray is made of so it doesnt render, it does the same with chlorophyte bullets which produce particles so you can only see the bullet
