There are a few things in this world that you don't have to mess up. 1 Beethoven's concerto for violin and orchestra 2 Ferrari 250 gto 3. Lord of the rings 4. the Mona lisa by Da Vinci 5. ston mushrooms with scrambled eggs. Some parsley, salt, pepper, eggs and the stone mushrooms. No muscat, no onion or any other gimmick. All these things are good as they are. They can not be made better. At most they can be messed up. Partly these are monuments of history with hundreds of years on the hump. And it is the same with this piece of film music history. This is a crime. This is the rape of art at the highest level. Enrico moricone is currently rotting in his grave
I disagree. Just because something might be perfect doesn't mean it can't be reinterpreted for fun, for art or as a learning experience. Vincent Van Gogh literally painted other 'old masterworks' in his own style, and many those are now considered part of his collection of masterpieces.
@@fdhoff This tune lends itself to being 'synth waved' and I for one am glad you did it and even more so that I got to hear it. You did it justice. And by the way, the Mona Lisa isn't that good. The picture that hangs on the opposite end if the room it's in is better!
@@fdhoff To each their own, but it was not warranted. I said it before and I stand by your amazing creativity and result. Besides it is a compliment to the composer to want to take their music and add to it. I guess the OP must not believe in remixes either! Go figure. Thanks again for your version. 🙏 You know, I am still kicking myself 14 years later I didn't take a photo of it. I got caught up in the "Mona Lisa" hype and waited so long to get close enough to it that I forgot to take a snap on the way out! I was also surprised people just ignored the Botticelli right around the corner. But at the very least I got some snaps of the original spire of the Nate-Dame de Paris. Won't ever see that again.
