hi Kate I've just logged on to watch you and it occurred to me that I don't say thank you enough!!!! I always look forward to this Sunday morning 'chat' - you do such a great job and I love it xxxxxxxxx and I like you hair up!!! xxx have a lovely Sunday / mothers day xx
I thought last week's intro and bloopers were intentional. I liked seeing the 'reality' of what goes on. I turn 60 in 18 days, and I would give anything to go back to when my children were toddlers. The good and the trying, goes by so very fast. Embrace it, Kate, we all understand. Thank you for the video!🌷🌼Happy Spring!
I love having my tea and watching you on Sunday mornings. I love when videos are “real” so no apologies needed. Love your hair up, looks great. Keep the videos coming. ❤❤❤
We all loved last week's Jibbering! As someone whose body clock often tells me that 4am would be a great time to get up, I'm with your toddler all the way...Thanks for another great video.
Yes, last week’s start was hilarious and made me appreciate how hard it is to appear both coherent and natural on camera… and how much editing is involved. No apologies needed, i always feel cheered up watching you!
Helen's Closet patterns are named after two locations in BC in the Kootenay area. Slocan (emphasis on the last syllable) and Nelson, both in the West Kootenays....lovely locations!
Please don’t apologise for last week! It was the best!!! 😂😂😂. Thanks for snips tips. I love my LDH ones but need more to have dotted around my room. I always look forward to your weekly round up. Thank you. 😊 Lynne
Thankyou - Sunday morning joy. Last week did make me smile - it shows all the work that goes in when we as viewers think your presentation is a breeze. You have such a friendly natural approach which does come through.
I love my Fiskar snips! Years ago during a group sewing event (costumes for a school production), I practically had to frisk my helpers for fear that they were “borrowing” my snips.
You definitely don’t look like a Zombie Kate! Thankyou so much. Great video yet again. No need to apologise for last week, I loved it a lot of others did too. 😀😘
Thanks Kate. Hope you’ve managed to catch up on some sleep. I have those scissors and also think they’re brilliant. Great for precision snipping the little triangle at the bottom of a placket. Bloopers were very entertaining. 😊
I thought the bloopers were cute and intentional. Sorry you were awake so early, but SO normal for little kids! I like the cami and pants pattern, and the men's tee😉
Thanks Kate love your Videos on Sunday, you are so warm and real - I thought last week was hysterical and no need to apologise you are too cute. I am in Sydney so watch you before I close my eyes every sun night and then I dream of the patterns! ps if that is you looking like a zombie with no sleep I want what you are having:-)) Have good week
I've had my fiskars snips for a few years now, and they've stayed Sharpe. I use them every day. I couldn't be without them. If I could choose only one pair of cutting tools, it would these 😅
Oh, I thought you did the beginning of last week's video on purpose. I thought that was so fun! :) The toddler phase is hard! "This too shall pass" was my mantra. Many lovely patterns this week. Thanks!
Kate I loved the video - as I do every week... perfection is no fun! Real is beautiful! Your videos are a highlight of my Sunday mornings! Thanks for making them! 💗
I’ve been looking after my foster cat who’s had his leg amputated on Friday because of a tumour (low risk of spreading, expected when I got him, so not a shock) however I think even I got more sleep than you! Love your hair up and btw enjoyed your unplanned start of last week’s videos, shows the workings behind this great “Edit” session every week! Have a great Mother’s Day now you’ve been reminded of the joys of that by your son 😅
I bought the snips as you couldn't recommend them more highly...and the balka dress as it looks perfect for an easy summer wear! Thanks Kate...and last week's intro was a joy!!
I loved last weeks beginning made me laugh so much xx. Wow this week where to start such amazing pattern and the snips are definitely on my list thank you xx
I loved last week’s beginning! And love the Balka dress; thank you for sharing it! After just getting 70cm of snow yesterday, I have 3 metres each of two striped and one checked springy seersucker cottons on the way, and was looking for something I could play with directionally. Was thinking the Olive dress by Megan Nielsen, but I think this might suit me much better. Yay!
I really enjoyed last week's video Kate, it made me chuckle! 🤣Some lovely patterns again this week, thanks for another 'Sunday morning coffee catch up' video! And hopefully your little one will be kinder next week! 😎
I love that Itch to Stitch jacket! I already have a spring jacket on my pile of projects (the Suraya jacket from Sew Over It) but I think I will have to give this one a go at some point as well.
I thought you had the Fiskars before. They were a holiday gift recommendation. Or were those full shear size and these are smaller. Great recommendation!
I have just finished making a long sleeved version of the Victory T for women. It is a very relaxed fit and I was trying it out in french terry to see if it would be a good shape for a sweater. I think it would.
