No, it's not. The law is put in place so people don't go around dispatching their "own brand" of "justice", to protect EVERYONE's human rights and to make sure people can challenge the government when it refuses to listen to its citizens. Their actions are NOT "well justified". They do just as they please whenever they feel like it and people misjudge it as being some kind of "rebels", because nobody else is doing anything (and no better role model is available to them) to help the country get out of the mess that the current government have dumped them in. They are NOT to be praised OR emulated. There's no "status quo" being protected here. For a "status quo" to be protected, everyone should follow the same rules, and that's not even REMOTELY what is happening in SA.
