+jennifer D maybe not but white vinegar does work on dirty things like toilets and mirrors and plenty of other things, if you mix vinegar with olive oil 1 part to 3 parts, place in a bottle and shake well, place the liquid on a cloth and rub on to wooden furniture which has been scratched and your scratch will disappear/ fade. Don't knock it till you have tried it
thanks Chidera, I realised that I was just making comment because vinegar is a great cleaning agent, instead of using fabric softener in my washing machine I use white vinegar, I use it for mopping floor and wiping kitchen benches with it also. I prefer to clean inside of toilet with bleach haha
Vinegar is one of my favorite tools. Use as a cleaner or to heal small bruises, mosquito bites etc . For less than a dollar a bottle, it's about the best bargain you can find.
Vinegar is perfect for public washing machine. It kills all the germs inside the washer and I add my tide afterwards. A very small quantity in the dryer is good too.
While the toilet and mirror were not cleaning challenges, vinegar is a powerful cleaning agent. It clean and leaves everything streak free. I have used it on ceramic tile floors, no need for soap, just apply and wipe clean & dry. No spots! (not sure how it would work on wood, though) The best part! Vinegar is inexpensive and few people are offended by its odor - especially when compared to all the perfumes and chemicals in commercial cleaning agents. Personally, having scent-related asthma attacks vinegar wins hands down! Try it on your grimiest floor - the mud room - you will be sold too!
I hate the commercials where they show a supposedly dirty floor with ground in dirt and the vacuum just sucks it up. Much like the toilet. It looked like coffee grounds were dumped in there. One flush without the vinegar probably would have done the trick. And the mirror?? That was scum? It looked liked toothpaste or maybe some other substance that would wipe off with just a wet paper towel. Please, if your going to do a add trying to prove how great a product is, use real stains. 1 to 10...I would give this a 1
haruhizuzu123 Guess it depends on what they aim to demonstrate. If the want to show how easy it is to get rid of newly applied coffee grounds from your toilet (not super common problem at my place, but then again, I don't drink coffee) then this is super. If they wanted to show how to get a dirty toilet clean they could have tried harder.
On an vertical surface: mirror, computer screen, tv screen etc, DO NOT spray the surface, then wipe away with the cloth. The cleaning product's overspray and any drips can and will get into crevices that can ruin the electronics, even the mirror, over time. Instead, always spray the wiping cloth with the cleaning product first [away from the item being cleaned or any other sensitive item], THEN wipe with the surface with the damp cloth. Actually the same recommendation applies to horizontal surfaces too, but especially important for vertical surfaces.
I hate a dirty toilet bowl. So the last thing I do in the morning is rinse my mouth with mouthwash, and then I spit it out, but I spit it into the toilet, instead of the sink. From water level down, that keeps the toilet sparkling clean. I have mentioned this before, and several folk thought that it was gross to spit the mouthwash into the toilet. Apparently they see poop and urine as "the good stuff", when compared to mouthwash. This scares me when I think about what it exactly is that they use as a mouthwash.
LMAO at comments! You people are so smart! To the video poster, don't forget people are not stupid, we know and we can tell. Coffee ground and toothpaste LOL!!! 😁
Buy a pumice stone for cleaning at home depot make sure its wet when you use it. It will get any type of stain in your toilet and will not scratch it. The vinegar will not clean rings or lime rust etc. in your toilet you would have to keep it in there for days. The pumice stone will clean anything in a minute. I own a commercial and residential cleaning company trust me you will be amazed. The guy who made this video thinks everybody watching this is an idiot.
Bathroom Tuff Grime Cleaner: Mix in a 1 Litre spray bottle 80% White Vinegar and 20% Distilled Water. Add in 30 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil and 15 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil. Also add in 2 tsp baking soda and 1 teaspoon Liquid Castile Soap. Not recommended for wood. Household Cleaner: Mix in 1 litre bottle 50% White Vinegar 50% Distilled Water. Vinegar is also a good fabric softener. Put it in your compartment where the softener goes and it works just as well as fabric softener without the chemicals.
But will your clothes smell like vinegar or like sour cream? I wanted to try this vinegar trick but I'm worried that it my clothes will smell like vinegar.
for a full large load 2/3 of a cup , medium load about half a cup and small load 1/4 of a cup ... adjust from there depending on your area's hardness of your water
Do not use vinegar on glass or mirrors. It is so harsh that it eats into the glass over time leaving it with a milky "stain" that is damage and cannot be removed. (builder told me it was too harsh a chemical" At least dilute it. And also, when you have cleaned the glass of shower and mirrors polish with car polish with a silicon ingredient and water will run off and not continue to stain. (like your car duco)
Yes, his toilet bowl is coated black powder. It is really stain on it. Have to place a piece of toilet paper and then pour in some bleach and wait for 1/2, flush and will be clean. Vinegar is the best and the cheapest stuff for cleaning. Add spoons of vinegar into a bottle of water, that is your glass cleaning spray. Add in some vinegar into a bottle of dish liquid and you will use less soap and the dishes will be sprinkling ! Add to a pail of water to mop bed, sofa or even floor, yes, you will smell of vinegar but once it evaporates , the bad smell all will be gone. I add in 1-2 spoons while I on my washing machine to wash my clothing. The best is any insect sting, take a tissue or cotton wool drop in some vinegar and place onto even a bee sting, the pain stopped at once. I read it and no chance to proof it until a day my little nephew --2 years old, thought a bee was butterflies, so he went to pick it up from the plant and got sting and cried like mad, his mother ran here and there didn't know what to do. I went straight to get a tissue and pour vinegar on it and place on the wound. He stopped crying at once. Everyone, included me was shocked. No swollen after that too !
Thank you. You might be even more delighted using natural, double-strength cleaning vinegar. And the brush; using it also to drive out some of the water before adding vinegar, or according to your plumbing, turn off the inlet valve before flushing, or halfway through. I trust you don't make and upload a of this nature just to cop such lovelessness, but because you know it's a good idea and you want to help everyone. Thank you.
Make us a video and you eat out of one and let us know how it tastes. You said its not recommended but you said that people could eat out of it so make one and get 1 million subscribes.
So.. You asked your neighbor "Hey, I'm shooting a video and my dishes are dirty.. do you have a knife and fork I could use right quick? I'll bring em back" Then you put em on that public butt slab and smiled a tad when you took em back, not telling him and said " Thanks !"
