One Morrowind, One Todd Howard, One Longplay to rule them all. This is The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, THE longplay of the whole main quest, and hopefuly the only one you and I will ever need from this point on. Forgive the oversaturation, the UI in-game looks a bit too yellow-orange, but all the rest looks nice and fancy. Played on newest OpenMW update. That whole Ghostgate area is mighty messed up weather/skybox wise, it has to be OpenMW's fault, no idea what's going. But, it's 25/12, have a Merry Christmas folks! Much happiness, many good longplays, all the great games you'd wish to play, those are my wishes to You! Thanks for reading this post, and many thanks for watching my definitive Morrowind longplay. :))
I sure was hoping that people will see that "OUTDATED" thing, cause I sure hope for this longplay to be somewhat successful. The old one was pretty badly done, with weird/stupid things not edited out. Plus, youtube copyrighted that whole video and put it's own ads on it, so you'd get ads, but I'd get 0 cents for it, ZERO. So, now it's better edited, better played, better resolution/textures, and I actually will get something for it maybe. (though still it's limited, copyrights ehhh) :D
Yup, one of the very first games to use Pixel Shaders, a new thing back then, to enhance the water, both on PC and Xbox. Funny thing, barely anyone had a GPU with Pixel Shaders when Morrowind came out, Xbox owners though were in luck. :))
Even just the sounds in this game give me nostalgic goosebumps. What a masterpiece! This is one of the few games that just sucked me in and it was all I could think about at the time.
Beautiful! Skyrim is my favorite...oblivion is my second..but this is on a different level of respect in my heart. I love how the music in Morrowind is also in skyrim.
Oh yes, my friend! Oblivion is pretty much done on my channel, I've done just about everything, maybe except for Shivering Isle's all side quests. Morrowind - I've got a lot more coming up, factions/guilds wise. And this here longplay, is the Magnum Opus of what I've learned during those last three years of playing and recording The Elder Scrolls games! Have fun, and thanks for everything you've done for me, friend! :))
I like how you went full klepto at the start but didn't go for the easy gold on the tax collectors body even though he deserves it. Really upstanding of you.
They modeled the character's face textures with real faces. It was actually really advanced for it's time in 2002 and definitely the biggest game of that generation. Morrowind was the game that saved Bethesda from going under after the failures of Redguard.
I have played every elder scrolls but I always finding myself replaying morrowind and the expansions blood moon and I have beaten this game about 11 times
BTW with Taunt spamming you can just press *action button* and it auto clicks the last used menu item, so just leave the cursor in the "taunt" location and press E to reopen the menu
I've just finished watching this. What a game... You're great for playing through this game so others can enjoy it as well. On to Tribunal, Bloodmoon...
That's one way to do it, another is to sell Fargoth's ring at the very beginning in Seyda Neen, or just steal the golden plate in the government census agent's room (the one who chooses your class for you) when you start the game, if you steal it and throw it away from your inventory immediately, the guard will just slap you on your wrist and let you go, but the plate you will be able to pick up from the ground again, no consequences, free 650 gold worth item. xD
That's actually a great way to make money in Morrowind. Take everything you possibly can carry from containers and the go to a general merchant and sell everything. Also the best way to get rich in Morrowind is to go to mournhold, kill ordinators, take their armor (the most expensive in the game) go into a building, rest and quick save, then go outside, kill the same ordinators, repeat, eventually you will be able to pay for your crimes and there's a glitch if you're naughty enough where they will attack you even when you don't have a bounty, then it's self defense and you can kill them without getting a fine, then you take their armor some more. Go to the Bazaar in Mournhold, go right and into the merchant, he has more gold to barter with than any other merchant, sell the armor in your inventory, wait 24hrs and his money will be replenished, go outside kill more ordinators, repeat all this as much as you want, you'll rack up 100,000 gold 200,000 gold, it's up to you. (Then buy his exquisite replenish health potions, when he runs out wait 24hrs and he will have replenished inventory, then you'll be rich and invincible)
Nice job on this long play, watching this brought back a lot of nostalgia for me. Really brought back some memories from when I played long ago. Earned a sub from me for sure!
Right on time hehehe. Hopefully this is up to your taste friend! This is the one and only Morrowind longplay I very much needed to have to feel complete as a longplayer and a TES fan, hopefully it will do well! Have fun. :))
I am revisiting this classic favorite of mine starting today. As you, I am using both MGE XE and Enhanced Textures. I've also added Better Dialog Font, Lower First Person Sneak Mode and Toggle Sneak. The sneak ones are so simple but really bridge the gap between Morrowind and Skyrim for me. That little thing makes me happy. It's going to be a fun time :)
It's a shame a lot of indoor/cave areas are always so dark in Morrowind (like 41:40). I always had to mess with my monitor's contrast & brightness to see better, but that's harder to get right on a smartphone ☹️
This was a very well made video. I loved playing this game when it first came out.. people have no idea about this being the first Morrowind game made before Skyrim and all that.
Wow! Your longplays are awesome. Definitely hope to see your channel grow more! Would it be okay if I used some footage of your playthrough for a project I'm working on? Of course I'll give full credit to you and a linkback.
thanks so much. such nice atmosphere. i would like to meet and chat a lttle in balmora my favourite place with some players in a new remade but originallike version of morrowind
Btw, if anyone comes here from my old Morrowind longplay, that I unlisted on 10/03, then here is the link to it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gm9sZbKQOqg.html Without the link you can't watch it at all, I set it to non-public, which means access only with a link and not publicly visible. :))
I'd love to see all the elder scrolls remastered with better graphics as best they can get. I don't even care if there's no new content either. I just want to play them updated with graphics.
Once you get past the early levels it gets really fun. You just got to have patience and take it slow in the beginning, working on improving your skills.
Rats! I played this game years ago and only this time I noticed something ... THEY ARE NOT TALKING! I mean, conversations are textual, not verbal. Human mind is tricky thing.
The answer is - for the sake of the longplay lasting less than 80 hours (12 hours is youtube's limit for me), I magically "came into" a lot of money, and fast, and spent it all on a trainer. :D
