Seemed more like trepidation to me. When he was mortal his family and home were destroyed by daedra, which is why I think he has a personal vendetta against them. He's still kind of traumatized. Even as a god, the Princes are still more powerful than him so he's cautious in their presence

@@eclipsedsanity9390 I think some of the Princes respect people who goes against them. For example, Hircine and Vile seems to like getting screwed over by mortals. Azura will make your life horrible, same with Nocturnal. Malacath will simply kill you, Dagon will do something similar. Bal and Mepal might violate you, and Namibia will eat you. Vaermina gives you nightmares, Sanguine does some weird shit, Meridia kills you, Jyggalag wipes you from existence, Mora doesn't care and Sheogorath is Sheogorath. So it probably depends

@@reeforeefo4087 thats nothing he choose to do, when Mephala cursed the chimer to become dunmer, sotha sil became dunmer in full black, almalexia was still golden as before and vivec was half golden half black

@@ElectroBronko He did choose to take on the grey skin that azura cursed them with. Almalexia used her magic to change herself back, and Sotha made himself look like the rest of the Dunmer - in solidarity i guess. Vivec went half and half to represent both.
