Hey, friend of TheRealMike here. For the past week, I have been talking to him every night, trying to help him become better. Every night, he promised me to change. Every single time, the next day, he does the exact same stuff again. I really wanted to help him, I really did, but I can’t help someone that doesn’t listen\doesn’t seem to actually want to change. Really sad.

fun facts: he's unlisted ALL of his older progress videos on the level (>2 months old) 0:49 i think it's also important to point out that people like kwazd were making good progress on the level long before mike ever did, and received essentially zero attention for it. (and also me but my progress was pretty mediocre at best)

I knew about his whole nerf drama but i didn't know about all the hate and racism, so thanks the video helped out a lot.

Until I watched this video, I still supported Mike a little bit, because I refuse to use Twitter, and his Discord server made it seem as if most the controversy about him was pretty insignificant, and his now relatively slow progress on unnerfedf Rg made me pretty confident that he was actually playing legit. But this video pretty much completely lose what respect I had for Mike, and the biggest reason I even wanted to support him is because I don't want Rg to be another soulless Zoink verification, who clearly does not care about the level or its history at all, compared to myself or even Mike.

I kinda respect the honesty on the first bit about his experience with bullying. i think it's dumb but i was definitely bullied into self hating when i was younger, so it's possible he was actually struggling with something and nobody let him speak. He wasn't aggressive or disrespectful about saying it. It sounded more like he just had difficulty around that particular type of person cause it brings thoughts of those who hurt him. When you're little stuff like that can cause issues and it kinda annoys me that the first thing someone did was act like he was batshit with twenty question marks. I don't think anything else was excusable i just think that part was understandable from my perspective. He should definitely work on it regardless. I think he's saying stuff for attention mostly. I say that cause nothing seems cohesive it's just whatever's shocking in the moment. I want to say something as someone who has been around the bend with this sort of drama, specifically the second half. The statement at 4:40, that all the shit he has said in the second half affects the reliability of his GD completions, I have a problem with that. Because to put it simply, bad people can be good at stuff. Really, really bad people. Hell, look at spaceUK. A manipulative bastard through and through, still pretty damn good at GD. Good enough to recognise the click patterns of kaworeta from hearing someone play, pinpointing the percent. Him being a bigot to the highest degree should have no real affect on how his runs are considered. There is nothing there that makes it clear that he is a manipulator. A liar, maybe. Everyone tries to cover their ass when shit hits the fan. But he is pretty fucking earnest in his shittyness. From what is shown in the second there is nothing to discount his playing ability. Not to say he didn't nerf the level and lie about it. He did, but there will likely be a case in the future where someone shitty will beat hard levels. Someone known to be shitty. And I hope that the idea that being a terrible person in of itself means that the person is suspicious of cheating, or there is more credence to cheating allegations, does not stick. It is a bad precedent. There is also an implication from this, if bad people are seen as more suspicious, then good people are typically seen as less suspicious. This is how spaceUK got away with cheating for so long. Because he was a respected community member, initial claims of him cheating were not properly looked into. I also am not a particular fan of bringing up the hypixel cheating either, but that is far more relevant so I can understand it. Cheating in one game does give more credence to allegations of cheating in another, and would warrant more scrutiny. I also have a gripe that is mostly irrelevant to this comment but I want to stick in anyways. This video really should have been an expose on therealmike, not an element 111 rg video.
