When Mark got into the elevator, I got a really well-timed ad that fucking looked like the elevator doors opened up to Jack Harlow sitting on a couch with his KFC meal.

Imagine going to a hotel and seeing the receptionist staring at a clock and breathing like a horse

5:34 I wasn't looking at the video for a bit, and I'm gonna be honest, I just heard this, and thought Mark was snoring super loudly at his desk, and I'm like 'did this man fall asleep--' Sent me laughing so hard when I looked back at what it actually was

That last jumpscare played out so fast that I felt like it happened before it happened. I can't explain it to you but it felt like it broke time.

This game has all of my fears: strangers, lobbies and elevators.

Imagine walking into the hotel as a guest and the guy who's supposed to check you in is just staring unmoving and unblinking at a clock on the wall breathing perfectly in sync with the ticking

As a Lobby Enthusiast, Mark was actually very close! The lobby he described as a 1982 Midwest lobby is actually a 1984! Which is a very common mistake, but it is Mid Western! So I'd say I'm very impressed by his description! GOOD JOB MARK 😁👍

it's funny that I'm watching this at almost 5AM on my graveyard shift as a hotel receptionist, and we have a weird elevator that likes to go up and down by itself. I hear it all the time from here.

Gotta love that retro 80's style horror music. There was just something about it that captured the excitement and dread of the scenes intertwined together!

Me: *seeing mark and hearing the clock ticking noise* My brain: *chanting* "[ R E D A C T E D ]" God I miss those days.

As a front desk receptionist myself, I can confirm that the elevator in the hotel I work is weird like that too, opening, and even holding the door open by itself. I would mainly use the stairs lmao edit: I originally wrote "recepcionist" because I can't spell.

The thing that got me really good in the beginning was talking about the top listed game in indie horror on the website, then scrolling down two rows to reveal "Poop Killer 3" for 30¢.

I went through one of my personal nightmares recently...fell a few stories inside an elevator...that wasn't the problem at all though...the worst is having stopped and then waiting until the doors open again. you don't know what will happen...will they open in time or will you fall down all the way? hell!

Markiplier should play It Steals. It’s a “short” yet underrated horror game that has 5 modes. I’m not so sure that he played this game before in some 3 scary games video, but I’m just recommending this game since I feel like Markiplier would enjoy playing it. Hopefully he’ll play it one day Bro let’s go he played it 💪

for those who don't know, all the characters in 616games are supporters of their patreon. in particular, the first client, Karim Musa, is the real name of an Italian youtuber called Yotobi! which is why I bursted laughing out loud when Mark said "love your videos!" as Karim walked up the stairs HAHAHA edit: Pasquale Salzano is the guy who helps out Yotobi, and it's not pronounced Paskal, it's Pas-koo-ah-lay :)

I worked at a hotel for about 2 years, and that interaction with Scott T was honestly not entirely unrealistic

I think it's less an Indie Horror thing specifically and more an Indie game in general. Among Us also released with little attention only to blow up years later. Just throw something into the void and someone eventually comes round to catch it.

I work for an elevator company and listen. Listen. Almost every single elevator is haunted. Somehow, someway, they all are. I have seen some crazy shit late at night. My worst was a unit I COMPLETELY disconnected from power, I was literally holding the only power cord in my hand. The buttons started lighting up and the ding kept going off and getting faster and louder. It got to the point where it was just one long beep and suddenly all the bulbs for the buttons exploded, both INSIDE AND OUTSIDE the unit. Everything else stopped all at once. I never figured out what caused it and it still haunts me almost a decade later.

I noticed one of the names in the special thanks was a Pasquale Salzano, the killer. As well as Karim Musa, the first guy you see. They added either themselves or some supporters into the game. Nice touch.
