Andy has the most normal reactions I’ve ever seen in a horror game.

The scariest thing about this game is just how shitty Andy's "friends" are to him, straight up bullies lol.

For those who don’t know, the text at 15:44 roughly translates to: “But it wasn’t her fault. We weren’t alone on that boat. I don’t blame her.” The thing mark dragged at the bottom of the water’s floor was the body of a kid. If you lift it straight up instead of dragging it you get a news report of a 10 year old boy who went missing after falling off a boat. His sister (who was also in the boat) returned home, but the boy did not. (Edit: wanted to also add a cool fact. If you walk against a certain spot of the trees you can walk through it and find the girl crying on the boat saying “I didn’t mean to. What will mom and dad say?”) If you want more information about this games story then watch game theory’s video on it. The creator (who replied to someone on his comment) confirmed that matpat got it mostly right.

The scariest part of this is when Andy is asked if he wants an apple and he just stays silent. He was so confused he had no response, or perhaps it was for a different reason. Either way he knew it wasn’t a joke.

I like how Andy is the only one concerned about everything that’s going on. My man just wants his keys.

I love how instead of just going with everything without questioning it first, Andy is genuinely confused and distraught by whats happening. Like, the man just wants his keys, leave him alone.

The dev is my sibling and I just cannottt believe that Mark played her game :’) I couldn’t possibly be more proud

I love how Felix just casually indulges in his cannibalistic tendencies and invites you to join him.

Mark had so much fun sorting the fruits into the baskets that he messed up on purpose just so he could do it again.

i love how realistic andy's lines and voice acting are compared to the rest of the characters, it makes the others seem spookier. super cool game

These retro horror games are the worst for beta testers. You can never tell what a glitch is and what a purposeful glitch is that adds to the spooky.

Outside from the lore, Andy has got to be my favorite character, he seems to be the only one with sense.

From what I remember, Thomas Eastwood possesses Andy and his friend Arthur possesses Claus, and Peter Pumpkin is a demon. After an accident in which Thomas's daughter knocked her brother into the lake because of the demon, their lives all spiralled out of control. Thomas blamed his daughter and suspected Arthur of trying to take his family for himself, so riddled with grief and anger burned their house down one Christmas day with everyone still in it. Absolutely off his rocker now, he blames it on Arthur and murders him with an axe. Realizing what he's done, he creates Andy's Apple Farm and makes a deal with the demon to have them live on in the game as it's characters, but the demon turns on him and makes him become Andy. This is why he wants you to "Save Us." Interestingly, the developers released another game called Rabbit Knight which secretly tells the aftermath of Thomas's actions where his daughter, the one who accidentally killed her brother, survived the fire. However the demon tracked her down and trapped her in the second chapter. Suffice it to say the story is really interesting and the way these secrets are all hidden is really creative, requiring you to play the game in different combinations and sometimes even playing wrong in order to unlock them. I'm very excited for Chapter 2!

I like how it feels like a classic .exe game. Very nostalgic. The characters are quite… fanart-able.

By playing the game just once, you do miss a lot of things. There are multiple different routes in the game (depending on the order of characters you go to), and you get a lot of different pieces of the puzzle each time. The route Mark did in this video was: Margaret, Melody, Claus, Felix. Also, for if he plays this again, say no to Felix when he offers the first time. There’s some extra dialogue. (I think his minigame has the most secrets in general.)

On that “error” screen where you heard the noises, I think it connects to the house fire, because you can hear a pouring noise of a liquid and then fire noises. The house fire can be found by playing the other 2 games first (I believe) and then playing Melody, where she will glitch out and you will be in a snowy area, where you can go down to a car and get a secret, or go up to the house and find the house fire. 12:59 This is what Thomas did to his friend Arthur after thinking Arthur caused the house fire, the entity controlled Thomas to take out Arthur with the axe. Arthur represents Claus Andy represents Thomas That body you dragged along the sea floor in Felix’s game, that was him when he was alive. He represents Louis, and the girl in the boat is his sister, Isabella, who represents Melody. That thing behind her was the entity which controlled her to push her brother off the boat to make him drown. I suggest you watch Game Theory and SuperHorrorBro, they can explain better than me.
