One thing I would like to add is Elyoya-Supa-Melzhet narrative. Elyoya and Supa have been good friends since amateur, and Melzhet discovered them both back when he was an amateur team coach. In fact, Elyoya already tried to negotiate to have both of them with him in G2 when they tried to sign him during 2022-223 offseason. Once, during a stream in his Twitch channel, he was talking about the EU situation (after MSI 2023) and he said he actually worked with Melzhet more than with Mac to discuss macro, and the macro he showed during Worlds 2022 (when Inspired said he was playing with 4 bots and later Pyosik said he was the strongest jungler he faced during DRX's Worlds winning run) was crafted with the help of Melzhet. So this Mad Lions roster has been in the making for ages, actually. Melzhet is also the coach who discovered Oscarinin in spanish amateur scene btw
Dude wow how did people not know this coming into the year I felt like non of the established content creators knew this context. Hearing that Melzhet was the big part of Elyoyas macro is incredible, scouting Oscarinin and I’m sure he was a huge part of scouting Myrwn too. Just incredible. Getting this added context from diehard fans like you is what I was hoping would come from making videos like this, so comments like these are just unbelievable thank you so much for providing this context and for supporting the content!
@@TuffLeader1 I think the reason why the international community missed on all of this context is due to the spanish community being very independent. You know, Europe's countries are very small, so each individual country usually struggles to form a strong online community and they end up blending in with the rest by speaking english. However, spanish is spoken in a big part of latin america too, with the only exception of Brazil, so spanish content creators have never needed to rely on speaking english to get views and form communities. I think that thanks to that, we have a very independent community and the information about our teams and players might not always reach the rest of the european community Btw, yeah, Melzhet did want to have Myrwn as his toplaner this year because he gave him headaches last year in spanish Superliga, but the actual responsible of discovering Myrwn's talent back when he played on spanish 2nd division was a coach called Marhoder. Marhoder's been kind of unlucky because the only good project he was given was in Bisons Eclub which was very badly managed financially (I think they still owe money to Marhoder, the players and coaching/content staff, including Myrwn himself) and he had to leave by his own because he needed to find a stable job for some time because he couldn't pay for his house and stuff; but he's a brilliant coach who rivaled Melzhet and Gaax (Gaax is currently assistant coach for Fnatic) and I hope he has a good season soon and he gets to work on LEC because every player who worked with him says he's amazing
@@TuffLeader1 Most fans in the Spanish community know this, or at least part of it. Followers of Superliga, and then channels like Esportmaniacos and such have a bigger context. When everyone was excited about this roster here and the rest of the LEC community thought it was Elyoya's friends, in reality, what we were excited about was having a "Melzhet mentality" team in the LEC, which was what Elyoya was trying to bring so they could have a chance at Worlds. I don't know if you speak Spanish, I doubt it, but there are a couple videos on YT of Melzhet coaching Skain (ex pro support, ex caster for LVP and streamer), which are the most insightful videos I've ever watched on League. Just one of the first questions he asks "What is your role in this game?", then Skain says something about fostering his ADC so he can be powerful lategame, to which Melzhet answers like "No, your role in this game (Rakan), is to be the other jungler's nightmare. Get vision on his jungle, follow your own JG and make plays so that your's disables their's, and you've won the game". Tbh, this way of thinking is something I've never had, and I doubt most pro players even have themselves. That's why I think Melzhet is the key piece in the roster, not Elyoya. Javi wanted to bring Melzhet into his team because he thinks it gives him the biggest chance at competing internationally, and the Riders roster has been working the Melzhet way for a long time, also he thinks highly of Supa because he also looks up to Melzhet's way of doing things as the best to win internationally, they share a vision. They told the story that one time Supa wanted to leave proplay, and was crying because he thought that if he couldn't be the best player in the world, he didn't want to do this for a living, so Melzhet is working with him so that he is able to be the best player in the world, even if he doesn't end up being it, at least having had the chance. Something like, if you fail at it, it was just because of yourself, there are no excuses.
Fun fact I remembered: Mad Lions Koi players are currently the only ones who have a Worlds win salary bonus in their contracts. They really do mean to try to win Worlds
Hi, I'm a Latin american guy who doesn't have anything to do but to watch LEC games and I wanna add some interesting facts about the whole situation, from Elyoya perspective, because I speak spanish, so sorry for my broken english and my poor vocabulary: - 3:34 Actually, It was probably uploaded whithout Elyoya and probably Nisqy's approval. In a livestream and in a youtube video reuploaded in elyoya's channel, he adressed the situation, because everyone started asking questions and the MSI was just a few weeks from starting. He said something along the lines of "I didin't expect them to put that part on the documental, but because everyone knows it now, I believe I've gotta adressed the situation". He commented that this things happens in proffesional e-sports competition, and that types of discussion doesn't mean that the team is going to explode. Although, this allegations caused a mini french-spanish war between fans in twitter that would only escalate on MSI. Fun fact, this moment after the first two days, was taked as an meme in the spanish community, not only by fans, but also by Elyoya and spanish casters. To this day it's still mentioned as a joke because Elyoya does actually started to like going on walks alone that year, before the disagreement, so Nisqy send him on a walk was mocked as "Nisqy te mandó al paseíto" which kinda translates to "Nisqy send you on a silly-lil-walk". To this day, when Elyoya is on stream, when sometimes a friend or streamer (or both) are playing bad he tells them to "go on a silly-lil-walk", as a joke. - 4:39 This caused a war, like really full racism, jokes and sometimes both. This was the exact point where we can tell that things are gonna end bad, but at least Jaime Mellado, spanish caster, a few day's after the whole war thing, speaked with Nisqy about the situation and they ended in good therms (I guess). Jaime Mellado tweeted a photo of him and Nisqy on a party after the MSI with the caption "Conocí a este tipo chistoso, me dijo que mi madre era puta creo" which translates to "I met this funny dude, I believe he told me that my mother was a whore or something", to which nisqy replied with also another joke. As a matter of fact, BEFORE the Mellado twitt, the ambient was already so bad because two things: 1) Also, prior to the event Elyoya said that he was so dissapointed towards the EMEA region in general, because he felt that, only an ammount of people that can be counted with the fingers of both hands where trying to win an international title. He said on a Ibai livestream that "most of the staff in the LEC and professional players loose their spirit for fighting, they're happy with their salary and that's it, so most players don't train as much as they can". He stated that "is this attitude the reason because LEC is so far behind the LCK and the LPL, because there's no competition outside the first 3 o 4 LEC teams, and even in those teams there are people who don't care". So yeah he didn't give names, but spanish fans where angry at LEC staff and players, because that seasson felt like LEC was so behind of LCK and LPL teams. 2) Ibai was on stream whith a group of another spanish streamers, he had more viewers than the LEC, about 120.0000 people watching, all spanish and angry of course, becuse MAD Lions was stomped and they where so pissed of at Nisqy, because whit all this heat in the air, he was laughing after the hard loose (and inting to be honest), so everybody on the stream saw that laugh a sign of of disrespect towards the fans. It didin't help the fact that people felt that elyoya was helded back by his team, because they're were playing like shit to be honest. So a twitter war started and Mellado brought a nuclear weapon as the cherry on top, and now is a full on spanish-french war. As matter of fact Elyoya was so pissed with all the community about the discussion that he said that he uninstalled twitter because it was so toxic for his mental, and he was specially angry with the international community for saying heinous stuff about Mellado and his relationship as a friend to him (Elyoya). Elyoya also said that he asked Nisqy if he wanted him to write a twitter telling them calm down the fans, but Nisqy declined the offer and said that "Nah i believe that would only be fuel to the fire". So then Elyoya uninstalled twitter. - 7:07 that tweet is actually still used by spanish fans as a meme towards KC fans during this whole split, telling them that "French team? bye bye from playoffs, LOL"
Ooooof the Kcorp meme is MEAN! LMAO! I have said this in a few other replies but I am so happy meeting fans like you who know even more than me! I mean I thought I was obsessed with the LEC so I love meeting fans who are just as crazy as me! I do love Elyoya and I do think he is excellent however I think by the second half of 2023 I think Nisqy was carrying a lot more than Elyoya was, something seemed off about Elyoya by that second half. Maybe he burned out or gave up on this team. I am glad he is surrounded by such a passionate team who are excited to represent not only Europe, but Spain in particular. Thank you so much for providing this extra context AND for supporting this video 😊
Man, I really really really need to know what Nisqy is paying everybody. He's a mid tier midlaner AT MOST. He doesn't have good mechanics, he doesn't have good macro and he's a black hole of resources for his own team. Fucks up the draft in order to play confort picks and proceeds to not carry and he gets babysitted every single game by both Jung and supp
ADAM! The hair is only getting longer so I hope you like it LOL! Thanks for watching the video I know its different and you aren't into league but that's why it means so much to me that you watched. I hope to make all of you proud and to some day SOON! Stream chess with the BOYS!
TUFF! Brother I will become fully invested into league if it gives me an excuse to watch my beautiful baby boy. Seemed to have cracked the formula with this one! HUGE!! SO HAPPY THAT TUFF TEAM IS THRIVING! Loving the stuff baby, keep it up 👍
I do not hate Nisqy, I hope him the best of lucks and I think is a nice guy, I think is fun and spicy and I love it, but talking about the game, He es not a good player. He have the average mechanics for a LEC player and sadly is not good at microgame. The reason he has such a good narrative is that for "discover" this, you have to watch the game in an analitical way, not like a viewer. As a tip if you watch Nisqy games, take a look how mane times the team sacrifices for him, and then sometimes he do something or shove a TF. (sacrifices can be: jungle path for gank, fix wave, roams from other lanes, waves...) Again, not hate or bad blood, I'm just a freak of this game mature enough to separate nationalism from opinions :)
KEKW. He legit solo carrying everyteam he went to to victory (and is doing that again rn in SK) wdym??? Elyoya performed so much better with nisky as a midlaner than with any midlaner he got after and its not even close. Nisky was great in FNC, and yeah he doesn't play the 1v9 machine champs, but he is a leader, and has basically always won. Idk how you can say than Nisky is bad then, especially since youre prob dia peak? How many times did he go to MSI or Worlds, been top team LEC? And basically none of these time did he ever get carried, yeah elyoya is good, but he neveer played as well as when he did with nisky since he is gone. But you are analytical you must know a lot for sure, he is just an average LEC midlaner
We are not saying that its a bad player , no one said that . But if analyce his plays like in MSI for example , he int ints so many times . Obsiualy there are so many factors that can make this happen , but putting him over caps or even humanoid its delusional , atleast fio me
@@felixloiseau828 Let me remember you that targamas had won LEC. That doesn't mean that he is not a garbage support. Or yike, that is not that bad, but caps is calling his path and every movement (you can see that in voicecoms, is amazing how good this guy is). Nisqy solo carrying every team is just delusional, I cannot take this comment seriously you must be trolling xD Anyway, It's just my opinion I don't have universal truth.
Hey, if you want to remove those annoying chroma key shadows, add fill lights but not in front of you. A simple setup is one to each side of the camera, pointing to the other side, so forming a cross. The trick is that the color the camera picks from the green screen is as uniform as possible, so the lighting has to be very soft, without shadows or hotspots.
Thank you so much for the advice! I am a little limited with resources! I’m literally filming in my little sisters room LOL it’s the only one big enough and empty at the moment yet it’s still kinda small and I only have two lights. BUT the moment I start making money from content I will reinvest to make better and better content! Thank you for the advice and for your support!!!
Hello, as an spanish speaker i can give some insides, first, the Spanish feel resentment towards the French because according to them historically they have been mistreated and looked at as if they were inferior to them, this resentment comes from hundreds of years ago.Spaniards also feel poor treatment by the international community towards them, which has increased resentment. They also feel that Nisqy is the Lec's protégé, plus what happened when he sent Elyoya for a walk, all of that puts him in the spotlight to be the villain for the Spanish community, having said that, I think Nisqy won, since Elyoya seems to have taken it personally while Nisqy is following the beef.
How is nisky Lec's protégé tho? He went in every team trying to bring them back to glory and lead them to victory to end up getting benched after. Plus I don't understand how every spanish guy think that trying to stop a player and their coach from arguing and tilting just before the decisive game is a bad thing? He just wanted everyones spirits to cool of, espacially elyoya, who was just blaming the team like theyre inting on purpose as if they were doing that and purpose + mental is the only thing that matters in a BO5 comeback. So I understand you can think he was beeing sent away, but nisky doesn't have any power over him, he choose to walk away to calm down, and I think that was the right decision. And as you saif, elyoya seems to have taken it personally, which is very sad cause nisky didn't mean anything bad im sure, + he never had any pb with anyone in the LEC before. And the main problem is still the rivalry between french and spanish community, that they are both very happy to help grow.
@@felixloiseau828 Elyoya explained it. He was mad because when he was exposing the problems they had, Mac was just telling him "yeah yeah". Also, because Mac told them at first that they were losing because they were playing too fast, while from his point of view, the game was lost from min 5 which means at most the games was fast, not them. So he didn't know if Mac wasn't seeing the actual issue or what, so he wanted to contest what Mac thought the issue was. That's why when Mac tells him "yeah, yeah", he gets mad because he doesn't see his coach having a strong opinion and vision, he wants the coach to discuss it with him and dissect the problems they are having so that they can turn it around. There is a video on his channel "HABLO SOBRE LA POLÉMICA DEL VIDEO DE MAD LIONS | ELYOYA", that's the full explanation, it has decent auto-translated subtitles, if you want the full context.
THANK YOU! That is such a kind thing to say especially since this video took me so long to make so I’m glad you appreciate it dude 😊 I hope you keep coming back for the weekly recaps and so much more dude I’m telling you I have a lot in the works ❤
Really cool format and editing, excited to watch more! Generally solid takes as well. Only thing I reacted to was you saying Jackies>Nuc? I'm excited about Jackies too, but you're doing Nuc a bit dirty I feel. I think he's proven by now to be one of the best mage players and teamfighting mids in the league. He didn't come into the league with a bang, but he's steadily improved to be a really solid player
You’re absolutely right about Nuc. I’ve been watching week 2 and 3 of course and I really feel like I did him dirty there. BUT I’m glad you think Jackies is exciting too. I think my brain is still tainted from when he came into the league. I’m gonna be more on the lookout for him in future videos 😊
@@Malo-pg2tmspicy take! But by no means a wrong take! I haven’t given much thought to who my player of the split has been yet, lowkey perkz has been incredibly impressive which is a lot coming from me (a perkz hater) but I haven’t seen heretics loses yet
Why would you click bait with an explanation and then suddenly do a recap out of nowhere, it's cool u got me clicking but then, u SMASH ur watch time cuz I'm not interested by a recap by a random... Just do 2 separate videos ???
It’s a strategy to introduce people to content they might not otherwise click on. Like if I had put “LEC WEEK 1 RECAP” as the title, but coming from a smaller channel many wouldn’t have checked it out. But now a lot of people came for the drama and stuck around for the recap! It’s pretty awesome and although you didn’t enjoy the recap, I hope you enjoy the other League and LEC content I have in store 😊
My phone displayed 3:07AM when I woke up. The room was shrouded in darkness, not a single scintilla of light penetrating the thick ebony of shadows, save for the blinding floodlight emanating from my hand. I wondered for a second where I was. I wasn't in my bed, that was for sure. The realization then dawned on me that I had, in fact, fallen asleep in the gaming house. Through the fog of sleep, I remembered I had been watching TV and had made the decision to take a nap, only it lasted much longer than expected. I should really work on that. I hadn't put much thought into what woke me up yet, not until I heard a noise. Muffled, but distinct and contrasting against the otherwise complete silence surrounding me. Perhaps one of my teammates was playing still, I thought. It was late, but not *that* late. I decided to check, getting up from the sofa and walking towards the neighboring room. The door was closed - unusual. Without thinking much, with a small creak I gently opened the door, Elyoya, sitting on the long table that held up our monitors, his back arched and pressed against one of them. Nisqy, standing tall before him, his hands around Elyoya's waist, fingers digging into his soft hips. Their lips melting together with passion and vigour, nonetheless slowly and almost anxiously moving against each other. I barely stifled my gasp and closed the door as quietly as I could. A concoction of emotions crashed against me. At first I felt confused they've always been good friends, but my mind would never even suspect...! - but then slowly, when the first wave had settled, emerged a deep and flavorful realization. I liked it.
Bro what LMAO! This comment is absolutely wild I hope you like this video man and keep coming back for more LOL! I’ll read each of your poems when you comment
It's easy, U can ask any pro player that they would prefer a person that's able to solve problems that someone that stays 24/7 positive but solves nothing, Nisqy, confronted with the reality, decides to deflect the problem and call for a mental reset in a 0-2 situation. NOONE wants a player that doesn't have blood when shit goes down, U've to be able to take that frustration and put it on something that would help you/the team, deflecting shit ain't gonna change nothing.
seeing how u answer people in comments, i think u are a really nice guy and i like the edition of the videos, people have explained to u more or less all the context from the Spanish side so i will just tell u two things: if u really like him, u can call him yoyi which is more sweet, adorable and the name some or most of us use to refer to elyoya in a "loving" way also i would say that a lot of people in the international community thinks that we support him or them becuase they are Spanish and maybe it is true in some way but what we really love and want to follow them to hell is their mentality, the goal is to win worlds and maybe they dont get it but this is a marathon that would make them better in a long way and maybe able to fight korea and china, the mentality especially of Melzhet, Supa and elyoya is something that as a fan of competition, sports or esports u have to love it, in my opinion their mentality is the only way one day Occident will be able to win Worlds, they are giving absolutely their best to become the best on the world so as a fan i can only feel proud and "go to war" with them and cheer them as much as i can.
OMG YOYI! I love getting all this Spanish context! I am Hispanic btw so that’s another reason I naturally am biased towards Elyoya and other Spanish players and teams! But I agree I also fell in love with how as a rookie he absolutely dominated in 2021, the clips of him getting upset with mad at worlds 2021 for example I found so cool because it was a rookie who was acting like a leader and veteran on the team which is so incredible. He is so good and hearing that he has been trying to get players like Supa and their new coach (sorry I’m forgetting his name as I’m writing this) for a while now and finally has and they are showing so much promise, HOLY IM EXcited! There is so much more I plan to do down the line including costreams and podcasts with viewers so I’m glad you are joining this journey I cannot wait :))))
KC was not even close in level to Movistar Riders last year. They would have been completely stomped if the final wouldn´t have been played in Montpellier, where there was only 100% KC fans cheerring for KC and really creating an atmosphere where Movistar Riders chocked and failed. First 2 games were completelyRiders fault and then, when they got to used to the pressure they almost reverse sweep easily, but the last game Supa, Isma who was heavily booed even being french and Alvaro a bit, chocked again and couldn't do it. Riders had until then won all BO5 with 3-0 with absolute dominance. In a neutral place, they would have beaten 3-0 KC easily. Nice video. I like that you try to be as neutral as possible. Really nice to hear it
KC won EUM 4 times, yeah bro it was luck for sure keep coping wtf is that??? But thanks for saying that KC has a way bigger and more involved community than any other, it wasn't montpellier, just look at the supporters in LEC even when they were 0-7, you will know its not about location bro. Yeah 3-0 easily, just location... I know all spanish fans arn't as delusional as you but god wtf???
@@felixloiseau828 Well, you played in France and everything was prepared for you to celebrate that 4 EUM (Even Saken compared with Faker graphics, big XD, casters not even knowing the Riders roster, casting made by French Media etc). If people in Spain can´t allow to travel to that country named France to be attacked and robbed like in last Champiosn League Finals with Real Madrid, and assist to that tier 2 Event like an EUM Final is completely understandable. If you seriously don´t think that more or less the same team which is humillating you in LEC, with ElYoya instead Isma (who is playing pretty well), wouldn´t have easily swept you, well, then you are just really delusional. But I think that´s the reason KC is making so a ridiculous performance in LEC. A big portion of Copium everyday to start and end the day
Yes thats what he said. But that was more like banter, while elyoya response got mistranslated so french ppl though he was beeing really toxic for no reason. Ig he wans't but i don't speak spanish so IDK
@@felixloiseau828nah I don’t think it was a mistranslation. I’m Hispanic and speak and read a bit of Spanish, plus I’ve heard from other Spanish casters that what I said was correct. I don’t think it was so bad that he should be penalized I think it was confrontational but fine. It’s honestly fun adding a little spice to the situation
@@TuffLeader1 Elyoya's was also banter, last year he never even mentioned anything about Nisqy or any internal problems. He's always been quiet to not damage anyone, and to be honest, because he doesn't need to talk about it. There is only one comment, just this one, so I think it's not confrontational at all, because Nisqy has been pretty loud (and I don't care, banter is good, although you have to back it up with something at the end of the day or you end up looking like a clown).
Hey man, nice video. Only thing I find "bad" about it is the white behind you, it's so bright it almost hurts my eyes haha. I know it's practical for typing/showing things behind you, but if you could find a way to make it a bit darker, I think everyone would appreciate it. Subbed.
Thanks so much dude! I did get that feedback from a friend as well! My green screen is a little scuffed so for now I might have to keep it this way but I will experiment with it more moving forward. Thank you so much for the kind words and the sub dude! Welcome to the Tuff Team 😊
LMAO well now you have me! Funny enough I have been so busy I haven’t had a chance to watch every single game for weeks 2 and 3 so I know how difficult it can be to watch everything. Hopefully my summaries can supplement the games you miss 😊
Yeah dude I’ve been a MAD and Elyoya fan for a super long time, it’s so good to see them be not only a good->strong team potentially, but their also just so fun to watch they are so explosive
yeah i think when a player is telling their team to stop turbointing every lane in less that 5 min because he cant play the game its okay that another player kicks him out of the room, especially when they are down 2-0 and need to come together to fix something ingame so they can reverse the situation. you can really see both sides its not fucking stupid at all and letting your team get 3-0'd for the sake of avoiding confrontation that eventually will need to happen.
Straight up when you put it that way it does sound super bad LMAO but! Sometimes back stage during a series is not the time to dive into those issues. Like you said they have to be discussed eventually BUT I think talking about them at that time and with a more confrontational attitude might not be helpful. Also in spring they found themselves in a similar situation being down 0-2 in the finals and instead of getting angry at each other they kept their spirits high and IMO that is what allowed them to make the comeback, because they didn’t tilt the way Elyoya had in Winter. Again I’m not saying Elyoya or nisqy are bad guys here, but it’s a difficult situation with no right answer in my opinion
i think talking about spring is pointless because they were playing better even if the score was the same and we will never know what would have happened if elyoya didnt get kicked out of that room. i think the right answer is not acting like frustration doesnt exist in competition at the highest level, just look at any team sport or eastern league team, how could this be acceptable in any way? if it really is going to destroy everyones mental that one player vents his frustration about ingame issues that team is never going to succeed and i think it shows why mad lions folded so much when things got a little rough, because there were no team values, no trust or anything, just a façade. still respect you opinion though just giving my perspective.
@@set4the mentales were gone before the game, they didn’t care vs BDS cause they knew they were the ones throwing the 2 first games and they could win, and they knew how. Vs G2, they got rolled and their coach had nothing to say, it’s normal for a player to get frustrated and ask the team to wake up, they were playing an LEC final, not a regular season game…
I absolutely will moving forward! I want to pay more attention to him because I feel like he gets a lot of hate for his gameplay but I do think hes a great player but he does have flaws. I will be sure to mention him more moving forward 😊
YOOO YES! I looked into that after this video and it makes so much sense why he wanted them to come to MAD. Honestly what big balls it took for Elyoya and MAD to commit to such a risky move and for it to all pay off like this
@@TuffLeader1 Yeah, in fact melzhet is a big part of this roster, since he has this ''Win or work harder''mentality, and he always teaches it to his players. For him, discipline and hard work are nº1 priorities, as well for elyoya and the rest of the team. In Spain we have high hopes for this team because of that (aside of being a ''spanish roster'' ofc )
Well, it's not completely true. When Elyoya was in Riders, Melzhet was in G2 Academy. Eventually, Melzhet moved to Riders when Elyoya was already in LEC. They know each other outside the game, and they have worked together on individual work, but it's the first time that together are in the same team ;) Also, to complete this. Ibai said Melzhet is the most important person in the project, and he choosed Elyoya to be in the team (because outside Spain there's a narrative that Elyoya built this roster and is not true).
@@Tempearley I'll add even more. Melzhet and elyoya worked together in amateur league (Circuito Tormenta), later on elyoya won the SuperLiga in his first split with Raiders while Melzhet debuted with a full rookie team and had suprising results.
OMGGGG you have no idea how bad I want more friends to talk about the LEC with! I’m hoping to get this channel off the ground so I can costream LEC and talking with people lowkey podcast style. Ughhhh so much I want to do

11:20 I mean, if you only focus on the good plays and not the immense amounts of misplays, then sure, Nisqy and Faker seem alike and have a lot of individual skill. But when you carefully watch him play the game, you realize how really not good he tends to be. I remember last MSI, he made Annie absolutely useless, but to me, his worst play of that MSI was on a teamfight with Jayce when (and I'm not exaggerating) he stepped back and forth for 4-5 seconds doing NOTHING, not even dropping a single auto-attack, while his team was frontlining him at the dragon pit. It was bad, really bad. And he had incredibly bad plays this split too, but again, you have to focus on him and his gameplay, not just the occasional good plays he pulls off. I mean, that TF versus FNC... Fully maxing Q... There's no excuse for FULLY MAXING Q on AD TF, none at all. Putting 3 points in it may be understandable if you want wave clear, but maxing Q? He could've ended the game if he hadn't wasted 2 points on Q and used them literally on any other ability. And don't get me started on his R teleport on Noah into a yellow card KNOWING NOAH HAD CLEANSE. My dude, why? Why do you do that? Noah survived literally because he used the card that dealt the least amount of damage and accomplished nothing with said card. Dude, you are getting paid thousands of dollars. Not using flash, Zhonya's, or not knowing which card to use is not excusable. He is not me; he cannot make solo queue mistakes in LEC quarterfinals. Time will put everyone in their place, but man... You people legitimately comparing Nisqy with Faker is amazing. I feel like I'm watching a totally different game.
For me, from the famous scene between Elyoya and Nisqy in the LEC final, who looks worse is Mac allowing a player to kick another player out of the locker room. Regardless of whether Nisqy is right or wrong, in any other competitive environment it would be understood that the head coach has zero authority in that situation. Then, to complement. In reference to the controversy between Nisqy and the Spanish caster, Elyoya made a stream to clarify the issue and positioned himself in favor of Nisqy, although he also commented that Nisqy's tweets were not correct. Finally, it is impossible not to comment that the rivalry between the two is also determined by the presence of KOI and KC. Elyoya recently said that he always wanted to be with KOI and Nisqy is very close to the Karmine Corp environment, and lately the tension between the two sides has been escalating and that is why the match between them has been the most watched match of the LEC so far this split. Elyoya represents a Spanish team and concentrates much of the criticism of the French, which Nisqy also decides to add fuel to the fire. We could say that this rivalry has been magnified by both being in the organizations with the biggest fanbase in Europe. That said, thanks for the video and I hope you keep up the good work ;)
He was not kicked tho? He was insanely tilted, and since they had to play shortly after, nisky told him to get some fresh air to cool down? Knowing Nisky, he really was trying to stop elyoya and the coach from arguing just before the game, he wanted everyone to reset mental. But yeah, you're spanish and Im french and we can agree that this drama mainly exist because of French/Spanish rivalry. I think nisky was also really hurt from how fans, orgs and casters (especially spanish ones) were often against him, even tho he was a lot of the time carrying the team both in game and also mentally. Also I didn't understand elyoya tweet saying nisky beeing more annoying than good made them loose worlds, even tho it feels like nisky was legit 1v9 (elyoya wasn't bad but...)
@@felixloiseau828 Maybe its a cultural difference, but in spain saying to someone go to walk in that situation in that way is not the best. Obviously elyoya was frustated in situation and that is not good, but i think the coach had to know how to deal with the players he trains everyday. IMO the coach did not know how to deal the situation. That does not mean is not good, that situation in particular he did not do well .
@@felixloiseau828 You still don't get it. That a player can't kick out, ask out, or however you want to put it, a teammate in that situation. That they are in a final, that this is how the group breaks up. And Mac had no authority at any time. Some of you don't seem to have been in any sporting discipline. Then about Nisqy's performance I'm not going to talk because clearly we see a different game.
@@felixloiseau828knowing Nisqy, he tried to act like Elyoya was insane for asking the coach for actual feedback in a 0-2 LEC final… Nisqy always playing the victim and trying to portray Elyoya as the villain, nothing new
@@TempearleyMac always had the authority, he is the coach, he can easily just bench a player whenever he wants, he instead did nothing, which was the first issue, he gave them no feedback, he was passive as a coach while being 0-2, and Elyoya was the only one trying to win it for the looks of it…
gracias amigo, tu resumen fue estupendo, literal esta sensaion de querer ver la LEC xq me interesa de verdad es algo q aprecio, y enserio, soy de MDK desde la cuna, pd MRWN="Mirwin" en español
Sick video if you can only be more freely speeching more emotions and looking more into the camera than reading off script than it will be a crazy video
I absolutely agree! These videos have really quick turnaround times so it’s hard to try and memorize the script and read it out loud. But hopefully for some future projects that will be more developed than the weekly recaps. I will be able to look into the camera instead! Thank you so much for the support and the compliments.😊😊😊
LMAO yeah you could say that again. That being said though I do like Nisqy despite the hate for him that I am seeing in the comments so I feel bad that they lost so early in the playoffs. I hope they will bounce back. But BTW no hate to Nisqy but I am an Elyoya and MAD fan over Nisqy so yeah I was pretty ecstatic that MDK made it to the finals. It might have been delusional of me but I was really hoping MDK would beat G2 LOL
If you want to read from your phone just don't be on-screen. Just have the audio of your voice. It looks really weird having you on screen just to read from your phone. Cutting from you on the white background to game footage with just audio would be best in my humble opinion.
LOL I mean what I said made sense. His talent goes beyond his mechanical skill, he brings a lot of leadership and other intangibles like we saw with faker last year when he was out with a wrist injury but then came back and won worlds. Nisqy is “like” faker and mark my words but he might surprise you this year 😊
@@TuffLeader1 I respectfully disagree, Nisqy in macro game is not good at all. Nisqy is good at taking resources and at some moment make the play, but all the setup comes from his team, in MAD elyoya and Hily and in SK we have to watch more to discover. But I respect opinions, 0 toxicity!
dont think eloya was right in the lion den vid, they had games ahead. either u be constructive or shut up. complaining and deep dive after. so nisqy breaking up the mental boom narrative was good
HOLY SHIT very brave of you to comment that LMAO I genuinely think this is the first pro nisqy anti elyoya comment I have seen so far on the subject. As someone who really thrives on being positive and can really crumble if the negativity gets in I agree with so much of what you are saying. I do think Elyoya is making valid points but it really was not the time or place. MAD themselves are so famous for reverse sweeping due to their ability to keep their cool and keep a jovial attitude despite the seemingly dire circumstances. Thats why I am so surprised that Spanish fans can sometimes side with Elyoya when what Elyoya was doing is not what usually gets them out of those jams if that makes sense. Anyway I find it rare for gaming/LEC fans to appreciate things like what Nisqy did so I am unbelievably happy to see you leave a comment like this thank you thank you!
I’ll admit it’s a little bit click bait but the idea was to talk about the drama first and then recap the rest of the week 1 for winter. I’m gonna be doing weekly LEC recaps if you’re interested 😊
LMAO great question. It’s mainly cause the LCS is so bad especially internationally, I started watching the LEC in 2020 when EU was still contesting for the World Championship. So that’s what really invest me. PLUS the LCS was and still is so littered with imports that I don’t have any pride when the LCS does well typically, but the LEC usually has all European rosters that make them so much more fun to root for. Amazing personalities all over, just incredible
The google translation is wrong, what he said in the video is correct. “Brother, if you were half as good as you are annoying we would’ve won worlds last year”. I guess google made a mistake because “pesado” literally means “heavy” but can also be used to say annoying, troublesome, or someone who gets on your nerves.
No disrespect I’m genuinely curious, besides Upset who else is he friends with? Also why is that accusation gaining merit? I think Kcorp was a capable team and I think once the pressure came off them they were able to pull out two wins. I haven’t watched the games myself yet
I disagree. It’s so odd I feel like people either hate or love nisqy and he’s not even that controversial of a guy. Watching Mad with Nisqy I truly feel like there were points where he was carrying elyoya, independently creating his own leads. Idk I think they are both fantastic that’s why it’s such a shame they couldn’t keep working together but both their new teams around them look fantastic of course
Keep coping, nisky was winning in FNC, he is hard carrying SK, he prob isn't a mecanical genius, even tho he aint bad either, but he is the leader carrying every team to victory, and when he got bench, elyoya couldn't play anymore, it works both way bro, keep coping. (hmmm nisky is gone and you cant win anything anymore? Nisky must be the problem bro yeah)
@@felixloiseau828 if he is so good and he is carrying teams. Why was he fired from fnatic and mad lions? Why isn't he in a top tier team. That is because european teams actually know his level. He is not a bad midlaner, but he is also not as good as people Say and thats why he didn't last long both in fnatic and mad lions.
@@felixloiseau828 carried so hard he got kicked out of every team… he wasn’t a carry, he played well but never got to carry the team, it was always lacking something, they needed Elyoya with a carry champion or bot or top to pop off while Nisqy was ahead, else they never win a game
Is funny how the "international" narrative (casters, journalists, etc) try to wash up Nisqy's image all the time. I mean, the guy is a public figure who supposedly shoulds deal with diferent opinions but someone say something, he's not agreed with, then he say whore to the other guy's mum and everybody defends Nisqy!! WTF!? The same shit when Nisqy flames ElYoya on twitter so free talking abaout his dives on bot when Elyoya always defends Nisqy on public to relax the beef between fans. If you are a "nice guy" you don't tell "whore" to a random caster's mom. And flame exteammates on social media. This is more the actitude of someone who try to take interactions on twitter. And I say this not being agreed with the opinion that if u smile during a lost, u are worse profesional. I'm not agreed but I can understand why someone could say something like that.
LMAO these comments have been quite Nisqy negative but I stand with you I don’t necessarily think either player is significantly better than the other but I respect your opinion ✊🏻
@@TuffLeader1 You know how Spain appears to be an island in Europe's scene? Everyone makes stuff in English except for them. That I mean by anglo. Basically everyone but Spain. And not hate, the opposite, years ago, way before ElYoya-Nisqy beef Spanish speaking community pointes Nisqy as a bad player while anglo community loved him. Edit: this year he's playing great, tho.
LMAO DUDE! First LEC > LCS but I do love the LCS especially C9!!! Second if I had the time I would absolutely cover the LCS too but it’s already so hard to follow the LEC but maybe with YOUR SUPPORT I can cover the LCS sooner rather than later 👀👀👀
Yeah I was confused about that because I thought I remembered hearing someone say he was part Spanish or something? Or like lives in Spain but was born in Poland? Idk but 4/5 players being Spanish plus the coaching staff being full Spanish too I think it’s fair to say 😊
@@TuffLeader1 Yh, he played in Spain for about 3 years. Also you said MAD was the 2nd most dominant team during the year, but I don’t think they did that much better than Fnatic to say that they’re clearly superior. Still nice video man
@@TuffLeader1 He's played in Superliga for a long time so people here are very fond of him. I'd suggest you to follow MDK's coach closely if possible, from every interview he's given in spanish he's gotten the people's trust. With things such as "no remakes, surrender or unfinished scrims are allowed. Playing bad in a seemingly lost scrim to get defeated faster is not allowed either.", "players lack discipline and often disrescpect coaches", "ideally, a team should play around their jungler instead of their jungler around the lanes". These takes may seem logical, but given G2's published scrim schedule last year it seems to be the exception rather than the norm.
@@Jcuetohh I mean in the first half of the year FNC was 9th then 8th. I think Spring Mad Lions would’ve beaten FNC in summer IMO but I do think there’s an argument for either team for sure
@@AofCastle ugh dude this is why I have been so excited to start this series because I get to learn so much from other community members. I didn’t know anything about MAD’s incoming rookies or their coaches so I was so nervous but hearing about their attitude towards scrims is AMAZING! I feel like so many LEC teams half ass it but hearing that they don’t early surrender, don’t tolerate inting to get out early it feels like all these guys want to win more than anything which is just thrilling
You look fair, but you are favoring Nisqy in the clash with Elyoya. You say that Elyoya's reaction is "frustration" and Nisqy's reaction is "staying positive". Please, dont gaslight me because you like Nisqy, he has done nothing, he has won nothing but one LEC with Elyoya (and claimed himself the best LEC mid laner above Caps) and now, after being kicked from MAD, he ended up winter split (like the rest of the old MAD members) BEHIND Elyoya "and friends". Face reality pls.
Pretty cool video, a few things I'd like to point out as I'm spanish, as you mentioned this basically started when MAD Lions released the video of the talk after game 2, we the spaniards of course went and tried to defend elyoya's point (as we've always kinda hated Nisqy because he was not performing at the level that should be required in top tier team in LEC, and for the unexplainable reason that Nisqy was selected as the MVP for a couple of splits), all the international scene immediately went and support Nisqy and started hating on the spanish community (idk why exactly but from that point we were portrait as the villains in EU). That alone made the whole spanish community more salty and from that point forward we would hate the international community a lot more and defend our players from the hate. This also made Ibai (biggest spanish speaking streamer) want to create an spanish team (MADKOI), since the experience with KOI (Rogue) was not succesfull due to some external problems. The whole community knew that we wanted to give elyoya a better team, and as Ibai and elyoya are friends we kinda knew who he wanted to play with (Movistar Riders squad ex team of elyoya). He was looking for players as tryhard as him and as he already knew them was sure of what he wanted. As the team was leaked, again, the whole international community started to say that the team would collapse and would be absolutely shit (wich is kinda understandable if you don't know the players), but what we hated is that the KC (individual players and as a team) was always put much in front of the new MAD roster, and if for some reason you were not aware we spaniards hate France a lot, and viceversa. So yeah that's basically the whole story in a nutshell. Sorry if this is too long, and if I said some information that was kinda useless/nonsense or if there's a lot of typos. Hope this can help and at least show the spanish POV. And if you have any other question I'll gladly answer it if I can :D
Nisqy was performing very well. He s a top tiers mid and it s sad that the Spanish community failed to recognized it and made him a scapegoat for mad shortcomings (while Elyoya was probably the main reason why Mads played so poorly during the worlds).
@@burgerman1234567 clueless… Elyoya was the only reason why they even won 1 game. They played around Nisqy and he couldn’t carry, he was the main issue, and with a coinflip bot and top and Elyoya being forced to play a support jungler except against BDS, we all know how that goes….
@@ferst262 you have the right to think that. Even if it s a stupid opinion that is not supported by facts nor logic. Elyoya inted so many games it was sad to watch.
@@burgerman1234567 it’s a fact, the only stupid opinion is thinking it’s not. Elyoya was forced to play support champions in the jgl with the most coinflip bot lane out there and a mid that got all the resources from the jgl and still couldn’t carry.
Oh snap really? I didn’t know that. I mean in defense of nisqy I could see that as a sarcastic tweet giving the haters what they want because so many accuse him of not caring. I think he gets wayyyy too much hate. I can understand not liking him or thinking he’s not the best. I would disagree personally but I respect other people’s opinions but I do think he gets crazy amounts of hate and I don’t fully understand why
