Thank you so much for this video, reading some of those BII social media pages really have me tense about leaving the capsule in! I feel like removing the capsule is so risky and I’m totally not comfortable doing that!
Thank you for putting this video out. I had a deep plane mid lift, upper lip and upper and lower eyelids done. I’ve been miserable. It was extremely uncomfortable and I wasn’t prepared for all of the horrible swelling. Because I’ve been recovering and have so much time on my hands, it’s amazing to me the dark, sad places my mind has gone to. I’m only on day 16 post surgery. I’ve been so listless. Haven’t seen any friends or really talked to anyone other than my husband. I can’t wear makeup yet and I know that’ll make a big difference. Anyway, thanks again. It’s nice to know I’m not alone in this.
I am glad this video helps...we go through this with all of our patients, because the emotional recovery is almost as big a part as the physical recovery. Give your surgeon's office a call - they should be more than happy to help walk you through your individual recovery process!
