@@gabrielhenson5751 Really, it depends if they're the cruel, viscious, unhinged type like kylo ren, or the methodical, dictatorial type like Darth Vader. Vader wouldn't tolerate insubordination or rebellion, but a general that can give him the death star on time is rewarded "Very good, general". Whereas Kylo Ren is just as likely to slice the general in half for not having it out a week sooner than expected. Some sith have less chill than others. Kylo is the type where bad news gets told by the guy with the short straw, Vader is the type that deals with bad news himself.

Spice mines are routinely operated with unpaid, unwilling labor, there IS a Slavers Guild in the Star Wars universe, and Jabba the Hutt wasn't running any kind of charity.
