It's terrible. But when you try to think of a better way, you find it's hard. Although we could start by offering arms reduction treaties to the major powers. We have that power.
Legit, I think it's the same reason fascists wore black uniforms with skull emblems. For a certain kind of person, being vilified is desirable, and that kind of person tends to be the exact type of person most susceptible to recruitment.
@@doesnormalityexistsick and tired of politicians not letting the military show these aggressive dictators around the world why you don't mess with democracy
@USSEnterprise6126 I do long for the day when we just drop the charade and take the place of the British empire. While there are places like Afghanistan who are content with living in the stone age there are plenty people living in the coup belt of Africa and most of South and central America just want some goddamn stability and basic amenities.
America will never be an empire because to be an empire you must have multiple nations of people under you. But for America, there are only two kinds of people: Americans and Future Americans
The British Empire improved nearly everywhere it touched and a lot of it went to shit when they left. If we just dropped the facade we could genuinely improve most of Africa and south America. It's the half measures and plausible deniability that have caused these places to remain in squaller.
I’ve always said: The country is perfect. The idea of America is as close to a perfect country as anyone has ever theorized. It’s just that even a perfect country is run by imperfect people. But nobody else has the amount of capable, smart, hard working, and especially innovative people. And those have always been the backbone of America, not the politicians
*WE FOUND OIL!!!* Index, please do a video to honor railgun history. Honestly, there are a lot of underrated concepts and prototypes throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, like the CCEMG or the MARAUDER. Pretty interesting stuff.
@ohnoes3084 Honestly the Brits did well as hedgemons and as an empire. If America was more honest and direct we could be remembered as fondly the British. A lot of ex-british colonies want the British Empire back, no nation that's been the target of a half assed "intervention" has asked the American government to come back...Just the tourism rollers.
@@simonnachreiner8380 yeah I do agree with that, while yes the British empire did many bad things they played an important role in say ending Slavery globally and exporting Western values worldwide, but it's just ironic seeing how many Brits today will cry out about how evil America is for engaging in what is frankly far far less intrusive that what they once did
If you ever make a video of bombers or just planes throwing down napalm and stuff, I would suggest Sowing the Seeds of Love for the music. Great work as always!
Hi! I'm not sure if you'll see this comment, but do you know where you got the clip at 2:27, of Charlie company's "Compliments of the USA" and "Catch 22"? My father operated in the latter of the two tanks, I was pretty surprised to see his tank in the video! I had no clue there was footage of his Company's staging ground, much less anything including his vehicle. Thanks!
Imagine he's actually contracted by the military and this channel is just a ruse to see how successful these videos would do for recruitment, making the very concept of this video the fucking psyop
@GarfieldMegaFan real good evidence is the fact he makes 0 dollars from this because the copyright music, but at the same time I doubt if has had any real effect
my political beliefs are a constant clash between the socialist far left me and the warmonger pro-america centrist in me *and the warmonger is winning*
@@A10warthoglol USA doesn't coup "authoritarian regimes" out of the goodness of it's heart and because they love democracy and human rights. They do it because the American bourgeois is materially benefitted by the upholding the neoliberal world order and keep the money, labor and resources flowing. In fact, America often installs the authoritarian regimes themselves to keep the money, labor and resources flowing (Chile, Guatemala, Iran, etc.) Please read some history and Marxist theory.
Freaking love these videos, especially given how much of them are completely unique footage compared to all the other videos of a similar type. But do you think there's enough footage to make a video specifically about armored engineering vehicles, or amphibious assault landings with the hovercrafts n shit?
