I disagree with the field rushing. I’m all about celebrating a win, but I like the attitude of expecting to win every single game! A win for Bama should never be a surprise. We should walk in with the attitude expecting to win every game because we prepared and won already throughout the week!
Totally agree, Drew! When the standard becomes that we hope to win and not have that mindset, Bama fans should be worried. It would mean the program has slipped. Thank you as always for listening!
Nah I want Bama to be a program that doesn't rush the field. Little brother programs do that. The coaching staff needs to emphasize the importance of each game and the team needs to be prepared for each opponent, but as a fanbase I don't want us rushing the field against anyone. Bama is Bama and They are the bluest of Bloods.
Agree with all of that Tom! You can celebrate without rushing the field and you should expect to win every game. That expectation doesn't mean you can't prepare to the level that is required to play to the standard of Alabama football. I definitely think the coaches and players had a sense of entitlement and complacency coming into that game. That is what made Saban the best to ever do it. He harped on the importance of preparing the same every week regardless of opponent. Appreciate you listening, Tom!
The loss to Vandy calls into question some things about the program. Appreciate you listening, Ricky, and please subscribe to the channel if you haven't already!
