Saved the video in my playlist for the Hunt history, maybe I will share it to some new player in the next era of Hunt to show how the Sniping was in old days or just save it for myself to watch the video again some years later and remember the good old times 😅 Btw I am excited for the bullet drop, it was unnatural to not to have it in a game like Hunt.
If whats gonna happen that allot of us think is going to happen, that is any Sniper Scope will have the least problems with dealing with bullet-drop and any other scope has just some less problems dealing with bullet-drop with finally any Non-scoped weapon could be potentially useless against any scoped player in certain or maybe most situations. i think the way to fix this is either totally eliminate bullet drop for Non-scoped weapons ... or make it almost insignificant until a really long range lets say over 150 meters you will start noticing (SOME) bullet drop And have the Sniper Scope have the Most bullet drop basically it'll stay unchanged the Marksman will have like lets say a 20 % less bullet-drop and the Deadeye will have a 30 % less bullet-drop compared to the Sniper. And ofcourse the Ammo variants have to be incorporated into this as well with balance, compact ammo and long ammo etc. etc. to make this idea as balanced as possible. Just my thoughts on this (MAYBE) unbalanced new feature. i do like the thought myself of bullet-drop being in the game, as a Beta player (with now having almost 6k hours, including test server hours) who actually was surprised it has no bullet-drop from the start as SO many games were doing it, i did like how Hunt Showdown played at the time 6 years back or so. But the way the game works and weapon variants we have now, i think there is a question of Fair Play and Balance introducing this new feature, imho this could be the solution.
Do you prefer Lebel or Mosin for sniping? I was a big fan of Mosin Sniper until i realize how more versatile is the zoom in the Lebel... Aside the zoom difference, both perform very similar.
Im pretty excited to learn long ammo tbh. Sounds like its going to be much more rewarding. Besides that, After +4k hours, a big change like this is exciting. For a brief moment, we'll all be shit agian. It'll be awesome :)
@dankus.memeokus4192 exactly, for the most part, at least. But have you seen how drastic mosin shots drop at 200m from the recent dennis update? I could care less about that, its that more subtle 1-2m difference at like, 50-60m Im interested in. The Flicks. Now personally, fuck sniping at 200m as is. 100m is fine. My KD does not matter. But compensating for bullet drop sounds fun, and it is definitely more satisfying on the kill.
Long ammo has sucked to play for years, been a drag for me because im always out of fucking ammo. Now I dont think its even worth touching. Its too damn expensive for me, has no ammo, now it shoots straight into the ground at the only range its better than other guns at lmao
Im going to be that guy, bugs aside, i miss original hunt, the one we got on beta launch, that game was truly designed to be different. but in order for the game to function and keep a playerbase they had to dumb down the graphics, remove quite a bit of content, then over years make it more of a arcade shooter. id rather play original beta launch hunt than current hunt. of course current hunt has better weapons more content and actually plays without crashing every game. but it does not have that soul it once had hoping this new update can go back to its roots in asthetic and difficulty not to mention been asking for bullet drop since that beta launch
nope due to headshot infinite os range and compact ammo having the less drop next s tier sniper will be the winnie marksman HV mark my words : plenty of ammo , easiest aim (less drop), cheap, great balystic speed (600m/s which is the same as lebel marksman). this game will become full retard as soon update pop and tbh i think long ammo will be useless due to their overexagerated bullet drop
@@PossiblyBlind Bro why you taking it so aggresively. I got over 6k hours in this game, 2k beeing only sniping. They even showed in the latest Developer update video that regular long ammo starts dropping significantly after 235 meters and spitzer almost never drops, only a bit which most of the shots were like half of that range. I didn't think you'd take it as hate💀
“If you say so” and “sure I’m taking your word for it” is aggressive and means I’m angry. I thought they were pretty middle of the road chit chat small talk type of statements but I must be wrong.
Yeah I don’t really understand why people think this update is going to stop them from dying to snipers, once people get use to it things will go back to normal.
@PossiblyBlind It won't though. The current system right now is if u line it up and shoot they die. even after ppl learn it they will still make mistakes. I think it will happen less at the very least
Honestly good in my opinion ratting in a bush while not getting any clues or really doing anything except sniping from a compound or 2 away should not be rewarded
@@PossiblyBlind People who need other peoples to suffer, instead of being proud of own achievements to feel rewarded, are mentally ill and should seek for therapy. ;)
