Like you could just feel the disappointment/what have you become type feeling radiating from her. No one else would say anything that episode, but she did and I loved the music for that scene.
Even without any concrete evidence stated here, I’d go ahead and say it’s highly likely that this is true. I think Viserys thought he was a dreamer because he wanted it to be true so badly but wasn’t (since he was a generally non-violent person and so he wished for the other magical ability known for manifesting in their family-some form of premonitive clairvoyance, but which is notoriously difficult to decipher and can have deadly consequences if mistranslated, which they often are) since his dragon died after only riding him one time and he never claimed another, I think he wished to be special elsewise; I think the fact that Viserys thought one vivid dream he had one time was a vision so badly that it had a similar effect/impact whether it was a true dragon dream or not because he treated it like one, it could be that the combined desire for greatness despite ruling in a time of peace, plus the knowledge of Aegon’s prophecy being introduced, he was seeing signs where there were none. I’m just saying it seems like almost all of the true dragon dreamers died young, including Helaena, with maybe the exception of Aegon the Unlikely who didn’t seem to have dragon dreams in his youth, but seemed almost like once all his cousins and brothers who were dreamers died, their visions sort of like, started tormenting him instead. So he lived to an older age but his manner of death seems tied to prophecy and misinterpretation of it, if you put all the pieces of info about Summerhall together from the lore.
This is her mom and grandfather's fault. They were so greedy they didn't even think of the consequences. I wonder if she would've been better off marrying a Stark. Great allies and get treated better.
The death of her first son was terrible. But the death of her second son could easily be considered even worse. So yeah, she definitely went crazy and they blamed the blacks.
@@stephaniemarie3587was basically torn apart by a mob. Rhaenyra put out a bounty to have all the remaining greens captured and when the people got Maelor and killed his guard they didn’t know whether to bring him in or not and they all fought about it and killed him in the process

not even her mothers, this is all otto’s greed and ambition to put his bloodline on the throne. yes the last name is targ, but a hightower was a mother to these targs, therefore the hightowers will probs forever have good relations with targs and therefore remain powerful. that is what otto wanted for the long game, he just didn’t predict his grandchildren to not listen to him unlike his daughter who hangs on to every word his says even at her big age. he expected his grandchildren to heed to every word he says and follow every decision he makes, because his daughter did so why wouldn’t her children since she would probs raise them to listen to him, but that didn’t happen and his grand scheme is crumbling to pieces.
I really wish she had accepted the clemency offered in the books and joined the blacks. She needed help with her visions and I just feel like The blacks are more knowledgeable about these things. Even better if she brought the children. Her brother husband would’ve flipped his shit but at least they wouldn’t have been in the castle for blood and cheese 😢
I think she was pushed. When J is murdered she tells Alicent they killed "the boy". I think she distanced herself emotionally from that child because she could see his murder. Thats why she calls him "the boy" imo.

I think Alicent would be much more likely to use her power as Dowager Queen (and her alliance with Larys) to keep her secrets, rather than resort to violence against her children. Alicent is flawed for sure, and even if she really has no love for Aegon or Aemond, she does appear to care about Helaena. She’s the only one she tries to make a connection with and treat with kindness.
@@anjelica948That’s because Helaena is her only daughter, so of course she will be nicer to her. Even though she kinda treated her the same way Otto treated her back when she was a child. After all it was Alicent who married Helaena off to Aegon the same way Otto married her to Viserys. And both ladies didn’t want to marry who they were supposed to.
Not to defend Aegon II too much, but he was in the same position. It's clear he didn't want to marry Helaena. His mother and grandfather ordered him to procreate with his sister. He tries to be a good father to the son that results, only for the boy to be murdered and his mother and grandfather to use the body for political gain. Alicent and Otto treated their children/grandchildren like objects and regarded their free will as an inconvenience.
I think I know what it is you’re seeing. They both have the pale, blond coloring, but more than that they both have round, short faces. Most notably probably is that they both have a short philtrum, the area between the nose and mouth. Regarding the mouth, they also both have small, pert mouths with thin lips. So their lower facial features can end up looking the tiniest bit squashed together. She’s still very pretty tho imo where in GOT I thought they had a lot of nerve to try to present the Joffrey actor as being one of the most handsome young men in Westeros. Uhm… o.o Haha don’t get me wrong tho he’s an amazing actor just a very awkward looking man
Based off how these show runners are portraying the Green side, she will most likely be thrown into the spikes by one of her family members. Wish they would be more even when it comes to showing the good and bads of both because that’s the whole point in the story. Neither side is right or wrong
Prophets are always tortured; no one acts on their visions, so they foresee horrific atrocities but it doesn't matter. So they're forced to watch as they play out, knowing they could be stopped but won't be. It's a torturous existence. They often end up begging for help until it drives them mad. I think almost anyone would lose their mind if they'd experienced what she did. When you try to stop horrors but you can't it makes you lose faith in all of humanity and you become an extreme introvert and begin talking to yourself as a type of solace; it's too hard to watch the evil play out and the good side never fighting it bc they don't believe it's real. Every prophet ends up half mad and they're never successful. It's a tragic role. You can't change human nature, even if you can see the future - you can't change the material plane until it's already too late.
even just being intelligent enough to be able to foresee outcomes has the same effect. no one listens, some are jealous of your ability as if you asked for it. you must watch misery after preventable misery unfold.
You know this show is messed up when you hear brother husband The story line itself is cool with the dragons and all but I can't get myself to attach to these characters because they are all incest or forced to marry brothers and sisters and uncles and aunts. I can't get past that fact despite it having been common back then. Thats my opinion and thats ok

Moment I realized how in Game of Thrones tv how similar or just dejavu it deaths Lannisters traitor house. Robert some of biological children were killed like Helaena's sons was killed. Just like what did to Rhaegar's children too. Second one- The right hand man Jon Arryn die mysterious circumstances that possibly was poison by Cersei own order that possibly almost revealed affair between her and Jamie. And two children poison by traitors when they are traitors themselves. Third one - how her youngest son died just like Heleana 😳 it was she possessed him herself at moment.. 😮 Imagine in books if they really do die how similar it would be death of Targaryens as if they got curse killing Rhaegar and his family themselves.
Cersei didn't order the death of Jon Arryn. Lysa Tully poison her husband Jon Arryn. Joffrey ordered Robert’s bastards to die which they stabbed them to death.

They just harm those kids that didn't do nothing wrong hated by their family's actions. It kinda reminds me of Marie Antoinette's children, they were too young understand. @AmiWhiteWolf Cersei was the one who poisoned Jon Arryn. She knew he was suspecting that her children were not Robert's and in fact Jamie's. She even has a conversation with Jamie that she is afraid he may have told someone before he died. That's when Lysa writes to Cat and warns her to fear the Lannisters. That's why she fled back to the Eyrie. She knew they killed her husband.
@@mjean6762you obviously didn’t pay attention it is explicitly stated that Lysa killed Jon Arryn from her own mouth for Littlefinger later in the series she reveals this before littlefinger kills her. This is both in the show and in the book
