The end of Litli Hrútur Fagradalsfjall, how a volcano goes extinct and the landscapes surrounding it
This episode of tracks will count my experience with the Icelandic volcano named Litli Hrutur (Fagradalsfjall) south of Reykjavil, in its final two days of eruption. A Leica SL2 with an Astr Hori 50mm F2.0, a Sigma 100mm f2.8 Art Lens, a Sigma 100-400 f5.0-6.3 with its doubler, but also a Minox 35ML with both Washi 12iso Leader black-and-white film and a long expired Agfa Vista 400iso film but also a Hasselblad XPan with Kodak Vision Pro 100iso and the new Lomography Lomochrome Color 92 400iso.
And also my own photo apps and algorithms using my beloved hand-made Camare Experimental Camera in random filter mode.
From the original helicopter views the first day, to the landscapes on the way to the decaying volcano, but also going next to the older lava fields and the incredible landscapes while hiking with a group of tourists like me.
This is popular landscape photography, and it's still fun.
