Learn Photography [Full Course] by Australian Geographic Photographer Chris Bray 

This was by far the most comprehensive and easily understood lesson on basic photography I have ever seen. I’m just learning and quite honestly have been frustrated with the wide array of instructional videos and paid courses. So many different opinions on what is important and what is not. Chris has done an excellent job of explaining the basics in a way that is easily understood by someone with no experience. He has made the field of photography and learning process far less intimidating.

I was watching a few videos on RU-vid and came across your channel. I felt like I hit the JACKPOT! This is a FANTASTIC! Most photographers guard this information with their lives and selfishly keep it to themselves. Thankyou for sharing this information with the globe. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the videos. I first watched this course before a trip to Alaska about two years ago when I got my first DSLR. I've watched this tutorial more times than I can remember, and I recommend it to everyone just getting into digital photography. I find myself coming back for reminders all the time! I really appreciate the depth and simplicity of the subject matter. As a "thank you", I just purchased the 30 page booklet and reference cards. I'm looking forward to receiving them and looking forward to some more long format videos in the near future. You did a fantastic job really making long format interesting! Please don't ever go down the path of short and concise.

I can't thank you enough. I couldn't afford the cameras you suggested but I did find a camera I love. Lumix gx85(I found a silver and brown version brand new even though it was brought out 5 years ago). I am amazed that that I'm watching this for free and not paying $200 per hour for this, you are fantastic. I'm going to the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica in two months and I'm trying to load up on photography knowledge before I go.

This video is fantastic. This was one of my favorite lines in the whole thing: “To be real photography you need to use manual mode, just completely not true.” So much weight off my shoulders. And his explanation of depth of filed using f-stops is so easy!!!!!!

Really sound advice that applies to videography too. So much info and if you just listen and follow what he says, you'll realise how much better your shots become. Even as an experienced videographer, some things become lost in a job and it helps to get the basics right before we start shooting. Great job on doing this.
