It’s odd how other people’s sins are usually worse or more difficult than our own. As a previous youth club leader I am aware that there are people who are just misaligned as far as their natural sexuality and their body is concerned. I cannot rationalise that. This guy, really loves what he is preaching into. What we need to realise is that we, the Christian believers are ‘church.’ The Bride of Christ, for who Jesus is waiting to come and claim. Churches are not buildings. Doctrines are purely partitions, and let’s face it Roman Catholicism has hundreds of them. Jesus can discern through all of them to discover those who have kept their lamps well trimmed in preparation for His return. I pray Lord that those of us who love you will persevere and develop in our relationship with you throughout our lives.🙏

The Blessing is for everyone individually of course. The Catholic Church does NOT bless same sex marriage or supports the LGBTQ movement. It encourages and prays for people that are in that lifestyle to leave it and turn to God. But an individual person can receive the blessing individually because that’s what the gospel teaches and that’s what the church teaches.

When God bless the Earth with rain does it only falls on the righteous people or everyone? or when the Sun shines in the morning does it selectively gives its light only to a select (righteous) few or to everyone? The Catholic Church isn't perfect, NO Church in this Earth is perfect either, no matter how they claimed it to be. Giving the LGBTQ+ a blessing does not mean that you condone their lifestyle. It gives a message of hope for them that God did not forsake them or have forgotten about them, as most of them feel that way due to the condemnation that they got from most of the Churches. This type of blessing initiated by the RCC is NOT a sacramental or liturgical blessing (the same way that a marriage between a man and a woman got) but a pastoral blessing that comes with a prayer specifically for their situation that they (recipient of the blessings) will hopefully (with the grace of God) realize that God always gives hope to the hopeless and freely gives His assistance, mercy and love to those who ask for them... and will always receive back those who are willing to repent and be save. Instead of driving them away, you're giving them a way to come back to Christ... when they are ready. Peace and Blessings!
