Following a bitter separation from his wife (Bello), famed mystery writer Mort Rainey (Depp) is unexpectedly confronted at his remote lake house by a dangerous stranger named John Shooter (Turturro). Good thing the cops didn’t think to excavate the ground under the corn that’s such an emphasis of his new persona. I mean, who would think to look under the hearty crop of corn on his property where everyone suspects he murdered two people?

He probably carefully removed all evidence of the murders, such as their cars, the blood, and the murder weapon and allowed the cops to search it when they were first reported missing…. they obviously have no grounds for a search warrant of his property and by the time they get one the bodies will be gone.

The point where you get goosebumps is when they show you the cornfield. We all know that the field is where the corpses, Rainey's ex-wife, and her boyfriend lie! The moment where you're about to see a gruesome sighting, the film cuts onto Morton's mouth munching on that corn! Animal and plant remains together with vermic and microbial compost make a mix called organic substance. I think that's the reason why Morton has a rich harvest.

Dream Catcher is good. Much better than the movie. Bag of bones? Its a big fukk u. The mist is okay. I mean its the apocalypse. THe movie fukkin sux tho. I mean it really really really sux. The dead zone....it fukkin sux. MC become the AP. My young self thought its okay due to their history and all that BS. My now self realize how devastating it would be for the husband. And AP died. The story is very cool tho. But ending sux.
