Ignite the dream was just a copy of Disneyland Paris’s Illuminataion. Shanghai deserved its own unique show and this is the best replacement any park could ever have.

Actually otherwise, despite being ended become original for Disneyland Paris itself. Ignite the Dream premiered in 2016 but ended in 2021, while Disney Illuminations premiered in 2017 and still running despite pandemic hiatus, eventually become only Ignite the Dream soundtrack that actually exist and unique to DLP.

i haven't heard the song played in years. it seems they played it for a few months after the new nighttime show premiered but then changed quite suddenly to the current exit song. i've been an annual pass holder at shanghai disneyland since before this song first came out and i only ever heard it for the initial few months of the new show. i'm always hoping for it to come back though! it's so good.
