Finally had a chance to fight against all 4 of the enemies in the game. I originally thought the Vex were gonna be my favorite, but after a while, sorry, but the Cabal are now my favorites, though Vex are still pretty awesome. The Cabal like you said are a powerful militaristic empire consisting of giant behemoths who's sheer size is highly intimidating. The classes are well varied, and the colossus Cabal I just think are some of the most badass enemy classes ever. I mean come on, not only is their armor the coolest, but they get a fucking minigun and can shoot missiles out of their backs. After this, ALL GLORY TO THE CABAL EMPIRE!!!!

Simplistic Version of this: The Cabal are giant fat metal death machines of war.

The Cabal are my favorite, they look very intimidating but at the same time easy/hard to kill, it would actually feel like a war when you fight them

Just so everyone knows, Praetorians are elite Vex Minotaurs, you can find them at the entrance to the Vault of Glass currently in game right now

The Cabal Phalanxes also come equipped with smartphone cameras implanted into their shields.

Cabals remind me of the Brutes in Halo but much more devastating and organized also seems they arent as dumb as the brutes were. Awesome video man keep it up

I've read the feedback and I apologise for the way my voice/accent sounds. I'll do what I can to sound more clear for future videos.

In destiny 2 the new cabal is called the Red Legion they have a leader known as Gaul and they have changed alot

Please keep in mind that this video was made before Destiny was released, so there are some minor mistakes, but before anyone tells me that something is wrong, I do see the mistakes now that we have played the game.

I like the Cabal. Especially when you first encounter them int the mission Exclusion Zone. Your ghost was hacking their network when he hits a Fail safe and gets detected. All the sudden the giant hanger door slowly opens just to reveal a line of Phalanxes with Centurions in the back with a giant Harvester dropping down Legionaries while its shooting missiles at you. Lol thats when you say Ohhh Fuck! Lol

Anybody else feel like the cabal are the roughest of all four enemies.

It’s not their souls Fallen headshots shoot ether because that’s what they need to survive Cabal shoots out compressed air because they can’t survive on most planets without air.

Something I found when I first ran into the Cabal is that it is not just centurions that have jump jets (not that I have run into them yet). Turns out all the legionaries have them. Seriously, those guys are NOT ment to fly.

I like how the Cabal classes are based of ancient Roman military and the Vex classes are based on ancient Greek mythology.

Brilliant video, loving this little series and I thought I knew a lot about Destiny but learnt a lot from this! Mind when you speculated about the Praetorians protecting the leader, that was a bit too off the track, because literally a second after the still shot you took, you see the name of that unit is still a Phalanx, the colour scheme is probably based on the battalion/group they belong to, much like how Fallen colours work.

In my humble Opinion, the Cabal looks and feels like the ELITES from Halo, but the Cabal seems to be more bolder than that and that's what i like about them.

Keep up the good work loving the series and also I don't think it's a praetorian just in a different group/clan and on closer inspection the tag says ph----- so it's probably a phalanx

The Cabal look a bit like Space Marines from 40K to me. Or, since they're clearly evil, Chaos Space Marines. :-)

i just cant help comparing them to the brutes in halo 3 and reach. But much more diverse. just the overall feel they have a very animalistic nature mixed with roman strategy.

I found 2 lvl 26 Praetorians in Venus and they aren't Cabal but Vex robots.

These give off a "Brute" vibe from the Halo series

Tip for killing the Phalanx: Shoot their exposed arm and then shoot the head. (Aim a tiny bit further from the arm though!)
