Dude this was one of the craziest scarlet runs I’ve seen, almost hitting level 9 in chapter 2 is insane. Also gargoyles are awake at night and frozen during the day, sometimes if I see a group of them I’ll make a note and teleport back in the day for the shards
Yeah haha it was about time, too cuz I had so many garbage runs before. But as for the gargoyles, that's a good idea, I'll try to put that into action in future runs
As I like to say, hubris (probably). I feel safer as Werewolf, so I put myself in worse situations. Or in other words, I'm allowed to play riskier, so I do, and it ends up backfiring sometimes 😅 Although I will say for me personally, I think I might die as Scarlet more often.
The update of Oni Mask is pretty good now. -10 vitality is just a small price. Beside, Scarlet is really fun to play. I can say that all of her talents are good. (not like Aladdin - he has many suck talents )
I wish a good win streak on you brother. Do you think they should make the mini boss keys reveal on the map like health wells? Like maybe with the Raven statues
yeah oni mask is pretty crazy, it's easily enough damage to clear the first floor and a decent amount of the second (pre avalon we were cpnsistently going for 40 damage on floor 1 with excalibur) oni mask goes particularly well with golden coat and black lotus to keep your damage (and lifesteal) high your hp (and therefore 30% of your hp) low
Yeah I had quite a lot of options to choose from in this run, probably coulda got that exact combo if I just chose differently. It was fun, regardless, tho
Yesterday I played a run with «explorer» modifier and I was wonder what happen if I take the quest in act 1 when all enemies on the map are dead. Found out that enemies that guarding resources for the house respawn as you take the quest.
Oh yeah, I think I've mentioned that in a roundabout way in some videos, but that's actually why I'll wait if I find something related to the quest, I'll go to the quest first, before clearing the objective. The only exception is if it's straw and it's right next to the quest. Like, extremely close. Because for some reason when it's that close, the enemies actually don't respawn. But the reason why I don't want them to respawn is because their kill xp alone is not as efficient as their kill xp + and objective reward at the end. If you do those 2 and get the side quest resource all at the same time, you end up being very efficient. Hope I explained that well enough.
I think it's almost always been that way, at least for me. Or maybe just the first 5 minutes of any given chapter, until you get more xp and items under your belt. But that's just me.
I prefer if Scarlet throw the dagger, instead of attacking with the dagger. Like Rogue in Diablo and Last Epoch. I don't like melee character, unless they have strong defense.
I would like it if there was a starting talent that let you throw daggers, I'd like that a lot. And maybe for the wolf... if would give him idk, something. Maybe an extended combo, maybe lifesteal without using your defense. But then idk what they'd do with the defense ability. Interesting to think about, though
