This sermon was awesome! The Lord used it to make me see that my enemy number one enemy is me! Just one thing I disagree with, I don't believe that God is not in control of everything. He's in total control. But He does allow us to stumble and sometimes fall to teach us how to learn to walk. Like good parents that wants to teach their child to walk or ride a bike,at first they hold that child from stumbling or falling,but if they truly want their child to learn,they have to let go. Even if that child might get hurt in the process of learning. And because God has given us free will,He wants us to choose to Love Him. And if we truly Love Him,we will obey Him. We may stumble and sometimes even fall and hurt ourselves but we will learn. And He's Faithful to dust us off,clean and cure our wounds. But most of all,He will never forsake us. To King Jesus Christ Be All The Glory 🙏

I wish more pastors would speak about legalism....the strain of Christianity that focuses on dress, drinking, but discounts scriptures on how people get treated .forgive, malice, fruit of spirit,kindness, etc!!!!! How does one think they are being a 'witness' when they are rude to people and threaten to suit, white lie manipulate???

If the world is not the problem then why does the bible talk about separation?

It says to come out from amoung them, and be ye seperate. It means don't take part or get caught up in the world's events, friendships, politics, money, etc. As HS through Paul explained, you need to be in the world, so that the world can know of Jesus Christ. You're the ambassador, but the ambassador can't get caught up in the politics of the region, corruption and crime, because otherwise they won't be able to to effectively represent their "country". Boils down to this: The battle against your personal sin is within you. Your testimony to the world needs to be that you're different than them and don't touch their filth. One is an inside battle to reign in your lusts and one is an outside battle to have a pure testimony for Christ. Hope that helps.....a year late.
