So glad you took my recommendation. Liz here. I knew you and Atticus would love it there. To answer your question about the gardens, they do them every day, all year round. My mum volunteers there on a Monday and there's a team of about 15 who weed, plant, tidy, etc. Next time you go, you must see the Chinese bridge and the apple Orchard. There are statues there and one is of Atlas. There's also an art gallery hidden away in the old dairy. So many things ate filmed in Wrest Park, as well as Bridgerton there's The Crown, Antiques Roadshow, Strictly Come Dancing title sequence, many films and music videos. I got married in the drawing room and our reception was in the library. X
Julie that flower that you have never seen is in our garden in the house we recently bought, lots of cottage garden and wild flowers, I believe it is called yarrow, we are in our3 rd year and it just keeps coming back,,I even cut it and bring it inside 😊
You said in the last one you’ve got Osborne House to tick off, I would definitely come to Osborne House if you liked Wrest Park! It’s perhaps not quite as good as that but definitely pretty great. As someone who lives on the Isle of Wight I would recommend coming over on the boat as a foot passenger, you could drive down and park in a multi-storey car park in Southampton, but do not get the ferry in the car, it is absolutely extortionate! 😂
