The versatility of Brokers caters to SO MANY deck types. Superfriends, Counters-matters, Enchantress, Artifacts, or even just plain beat down with creatures.
These shorts are great! In a few minutes you do a succinct job of assessing the cards, and bringing to light a number of fun and interesting cards from elsewhere that would play well with the tech present in these decks. Excellent job!
You’re your own man of course, and I respect your dedication to the game, but you gotta take care of your voice, man! As someone who’s ruined their voice singing notes I had no business singing, stressing your vocal cords to points that feel uncomfortable really does take its toll rather quickly, and it’s not an easy or cheap process undoing the damage it does. I can’t yell anymore, and it would take surgery followed by a couple months of recovery to get my vocal cords back to where they should be at this point. So I’d recommend being a little more easy on them, but like I said, you’re your own man. This is just my two cents, from experience.
Yeah, his voice does sound pretty rough. What he could try to do is to speak at a more calmer volume and actually amp up the sensitivity of the mic so it still picks up his voice. Especially for videos like these where there's no interaction with people.
Yeah, I am really liking the Brokers. When I found out about the shield counters, I knew this would be the faction I rep. So sick of getting screwed by people spamming removal. And being able to ramp planeswalkers up to high heaven sounds pretty useful.
Played it against a table of real decks this week at commander deck. It stomped out of the box. The deck was so good it caught me off guard, honestly. My first experience with the deck was turn 2 incubation druid into turn 3 lunarch aspirant and Fathom mage. And that wasn't the only game out of my 4 with the deck where I ended my turn 3 with six mana and two additional value engine creatures. (Turn 2 grateful apparition into turn 3 Everflowing chalice, proliferate, Arcane signet + thrummingbird hooooooo boy) The deck's wild and I love it. I'm absolutely converting it into Denry Klin and making it a personal deck of mine.
Some of the counter shenanigans you can do with Resourceful Defense could be done with the land Nesting Ground, namely the Grimdancer/Pyrohemia combo and some other stuff like that.
@@thomasgaillard6713 I have a lot of counters effects in my Kyler build that put them on multiple creatures, so personally I'd add Contractual Safeguard and Damning Verdict as well
Seems fun, and I love building an army in Bant, BUT last time I played Cathar's Crusade I ended up taking it out of my deck immediately after... not because the card isn't good, but because it start becoming a bit of a pain to move around all your dice/counters with every trigger 😂. Don't get me wrong, I'd never be mad about someone else playing it, it just like, "dang this is a lot of work." This deck feels like it's going to be like Cathar's Crusade on steroids.
Wait... do Shield counters go away the time any damage would be dealt to the creature? So it's not Totem Armor... it's far, far worse? How does this work when 2 creatures deal combat damage to it at the same time? These are separate instances of damage, so would both be prevented? What is going on?
suddenly my weird counter atraxa deck that tries to move around all the weird counters mtg has to offer like +1/+2 counter ect is about to become viable
Slap in the new kodama, Inexorable tide, Champion of lambholt, Fractal harness, and a few others and this will be a sweet smackdown deck, especially with the change to proliferate.
