I started playing Overwatch with OW2 last year and I find stuff from OW1 so interesting and fascinating. I've seen countless videos exploring how heroes changed over the years, but this was the first time someone showed what the experimental mode was and its changes. Thank you for the very fun video :)
It's so interesting to see these now and how many actually did make it into the game. Rein's double firestrike and hammer damage, Moira's Fade as Suzu, Sym's healing turrets in Pylon. Gosh I hope we see more of these at some point and get to test out more future abilities.
If fade worked like that it would actually be so op not only is it on like a 6 sec cooldown half of what kiri’s is it also gives Moria that super nice movement.
@@toazel8679 I know I agree his damage diff needed to be brought up more just a thing that 6v6ers could point out about the state of the game but I agree and it doesn’t feel broken at all or anything like that
Reinhardt does 100, but he’s also the only tank now; saying Power Creep is a little wild when, despite having 100 damage the entire time, he felt awful for more than a year 😂 Oh and let’s include everyone now has 250 health to alleviate burst damage anyway Lol
you right lol obviously the reason it was increased was because of the hp change i just thought it was funny because as rein i feel like even now you dont feel like your just "accidentally" killing things unlike back then lol

when the playerbase was big enough to have the luxury of a new queue for experiments and not force them on quick play, which went to nowhere by the way
@@verguco6051 fair tho in defense of them the quick play hacks are only like 2 days it’s really not that long at all and more people played the quick play hacked than expiremental and the devs get a better idea on what things people like and don’t like if they have more people playing it do I think they maybe should just add it back as a game mode yes but I feel like I do like that they are trying new things to shake up the game
@@mercyI_I the excuse of using quick play is get more people to play but the they only use two days, smart move blizzard, sure a lot of data to gather in two days, what about using an special arcade mode with free rewards? i know blizzard hates the word free but some couns isnt too much to ask right?
@@mercyI_I I remember playing some of these and don't remember some of these Like the Lucio beat one but not the Mei one I remember the Moria fade and a couple others honestly it was fun while it lasted
I’d honestly love for support Symmetra to come back. Not with healing turrets but it would be nice for experimental mode to return so we can actually see if other changes would be good.
@@mercyI_I a thought I had was to make her beam lock-on to teammates and heal. They could keep TP and they maybe could keep turrets. I would be fine replacing turrets for her old moving shield, though. This would be if she was a support.
@@finnnnnnlol3650 yeah I like a lot of those ideas my only thing would be the beam thing feels to similar to mercy and I feel like mercy her self is pretty linear in her design but I feel like her character leaves a lot of room to even create new abilities like she can do a lot of shit

PLEASEEE do PTR too it was so fun i once got the floor is lava achievment there but it didnt register to my main server account so now even years later i still dont have the achievement lmao

@@mercyI_IShe lost her damage orb for an enfeebling orb. Her orbs had seperate cooldowns. Her enfeeble orb was a tiny skill shot, kind of like an Ana sleep. The orb, instead of being a normal damage orb, if you hit it direct, it would reduce the damage you deal for a few seconds. Meaning if you hit a Genji in blade, his damage was lowered so much you couldnt even really kill anything
that pharah thing makes no sense, why wasn't it the other way around (assuming that they were genuinely considering using it in the main game) edit: okay considering the orisa changes, it's safe to assume that i'm wrong about thinking that they'd ever possibly add the pharah feature LOL
@@-NoNo. instant acceleration during flight is dangerous to hand out. I'm okay with giving mercy more movement, but she has to lose either damage boost or res.
@@drjamaymay405 “dangerous to hand out” dude she already has that, what do you mean dangerous to hand out. besides if i remember correctly, this version of valkyrie actually paused her self healing when she got shot at so i don’t think that would be necessary. if they realy had to take away something then take away her ow2 movement
@@-NoNo. it currently exists as an ult. it couldn't work as a standard cd. even if it didn't apply constant healing, you could still self-heal off of her staff healing. and yeah take something away, i don't really care what.
