Knicks fan here. No Julius Randle is not better than Paul George, that being said if your argument is “Knicks are better without him and these playoffs prove it” you clearly didn’t watch the Knicks in January when they were healthy

Randle is a great regular season player, reason why he got all nba 3rd last year I believe. He’s not good in the playoffs, he can’t play well in double teams and can’t keep emotions in check .

@@Marcel8698again context is needed. As a Knick fan Randle is a winning player. I look back at his playoff drop moments and recognize that he did a lot with less than what most people would call a playoff roster (2021). We shitted on him but looking back I think us as Knicks fan appreciate him more when thinking about it. Half those guys are out of the league now. Then last year was ankle injuries. I’m not saying that he doesn’t drop but to sit here and say that schematically his first year in the playoffs was him dropping off rather than a feature of that roster (no second option besides a old d rose) come playoff time and then his injuries last year we have to give him the benefit of the doubt. Plus he’s extremely durable as a player. One of the few guys who plays 70-80 games a year. There are few guys who average his stats and have his impact on the game. He’s also gotten extremely good at passing out of double teams now that our team is filled with shooters and playmakers. It’s one of his underrated parts of his game

Dawg do not say you watch the Knicks and say PG better than Randle. Better scorer, rebounder, playmaker. And I don’t wanna hear anything about playoffs either because playoff piss has been a poor playoff player since Indy

There's a distinct toughness about the Knicks that I don't see in a lot of teams and players so I kinda get where Ox is coming from, but PG is still a very good player.

Why not, you can always count on Hart! Hart plays 100% 48 minutes and he is 5 years younger! I'm not saying he is a better player than PG, but he is giving you only 60%

Josh Hart maybe better than PG. Hart averaging 17 PPG, 13 RPG, 5 APG on 48% & 45% from 3 playing 46 MPG in the playoffs. Josh Hart is crazy good, averaging 13 boards as a 6’4 guard is crazy

PG ain't a better defender than og at all. He'd provide offence for sure but he ain't an elite passer, he's a streaky shooter, he's not a great rebounder. So what they gain in shooting and in getting a bucket, they lose a part of their identity.

This NBA Finals seems to be related to “Leave this World behind.” White Lion = 115. That was the name of the ship in the movie But it’s lookin like Knicks…. Knicks = 67 and that movie came out on the day leaving 67 days left in the year 10/25/2023 = 78 New York = 78

All I’m saying with the Knicks is watch out for the situation on the bucks, cause Giannis might as o it and that’s a deal they could do with their assets. It’s a small chance but it’s a chance. Other than that I could see them sticking to the Donovan Mitchell route they have been the last few years, even though another backcourt scorer isn’t what they NEED but it does help
