Jokic is not more physical than the 90s or 80s. The league is just marshmallow fluff soft today. So when he plays a little physical, it looks so much stronger. But he would be an average physical guy in the 90s, most of the bigs were far more physical and just as talented at the rim, they just didnt bother shooting low percentage shots like they do today. Trading a 70% shot at the rim for a 40% shot at 3 is an acceptable tradeoff. This is why they shoot more 3s today but still dont average higher ppg numbers.
The absolute brain dead take people have that “Kyrie is ackshully the most important over Luka” has to be xenophobia at this point. No one is unironically this dumb
He barely hit half of his free throws through whole career. I wouldn't say the free throw line was unfair towards him. He even tried doing the granny. Went up to 60 something %...made fun of him..went back
I think ppl starting to overvalue versatility, lol Just cuz u can doesn’t mean u should Or u are consistent n that area lol give me Tim on off, def, the bench , coaching , locker room , swimming idc
Probably not them dudes were super aggressive skill goes out the window with force that’s why they always trying to put somebody over physical on kd he get flustered
This is definitely shaq fault and to make it worse ppl started saying this once the clippers beat Utah in 2021 because they was moving gobert away from the basket bcuz Utah had poor wing men that was getting beat constantly
😂😂😂😂 stop arguing with these dudes that were too young to watch players like Tim Duncan play in actual games they go to RU-vid...see some highlights, and claim they are experts 😂😅
That’s clearly biased af we not finna act like Devin wasn’t ballin this year , you don’t want to see a duo like that it’s literally almost unfair . Jamal good but he ain’t no Devin and had about the same assist acts all season and playoffs included
Youngin you bugging ad miles away from timmy one of da best 4/5 no one use da backboard like he did efficient Hall of Fame he's a kid so let's overstan
What hurts Duncan the most is not the perception that he was boring, it's the same thing that hurts Kareem and Kobe. He wasn't perceived as the main guy for every chip. Vital piece, but at the end San Antonio was trying to find another player like LaMarcus Aldridge to replace Duncan. We as fans and critics are not the critical thinkers we claim to be and want an easy argument.
