Predators getting involved in a war..maybe WW2 or Vietnam would be cool. Theres a fan film floating around with a similar story that plays a lot of homage to the original movie
I would like to see one where a young yoauscha has to prove himself on their planets as the ultimate trophy hunter and rising up the ranks. Also to see what environment they live in and how their clans thrive in their homeland.
I wanna see Predator in feudal Japan, Predator VS Vikings, Predator/Jurassic World, Predator VS Barbie, Predator teams up with The Expendables, Predator goes to Hell and John Wick 5: The Predator next.
I saw the first one in theaters and still love it. They took the greatest monster design of the old universal films (the creature from the black lagoon) and does an amazing modern update of the creature design. It’s the first and a classic. That being said the second is just a good. Just different.
As agent Peter Keyes said in Predator 2 about past Yautja encounters “Iwo Jima, Cambodia, Beirut. Drawn by heat and conflict.” Those are some potential future films the Predator series could head.
There are a few different eras that I would love to see a Predator movie set. First, around 1600 in feudal Japan taking on samurai and ninjas. Second, in Scandinavia around the year 900 taking on Vikings. Third, during World War II in either Europe during the Battle of the Bulge, or in the Pacific during the invasion of Iwo Jima.
I feel most of those would be a rough rehash of PREY. Samurai/Ninja: swords and such vs tech, Vikings: axes, swords and shields vs tech, now WWII would be guns, but that would be like 1 & 2.
Lol, that was a dumb cringe scene. Pred moves like a fat wrestler and the convenience of the whole scene taking place in a field of grass when the movie takes place in an alien jungle.
its the most underrated. but its good because it stays the most cannon. sometimes these "new ideas" stuff just complicats fluidity more. just continue the stories FFS. The Predator is a good start for blending with Predators, and Prey is a good start for Predator history and showing the different Clans and hybrids. They should be making both back to back.
Can't wait to see more out of the franchise. There is honestly a LOT more that they can do. I'd personally like to know more about their home world. And sort of like the Alien films, true fans would always like to know more about the history of things.
I just watched them all over the last week… that’s wild you like The Predator. That movie legit looked like it was straight to Netflix. The plot was dumb af, the humor was cringe… and Olivia Munn was there just because… people think she’s attractive? It’s by far the worst one… if AVP Requiem didn’t exist.
So we have Predator,Predator 2,Predator 2018,Predator.And they are distinctive. In behaviour, skills, personality.Like people living in different towns or cities.Or village and city. You are right it's convulded😀But it's understandable.Very interesting timeline. I think pirate story is cannon. It's not bad we get more prequels and sequels.Could be good. Great video
"Predators" is set in universe in 2024. "Predator: Hunting Grounds" is set in 2025 and features a character from "predators" returning to earth one year after they disappeared in "Predators"
When a timeline jumps all over the place like that, it means there isn't a timeline. At least not one that the creators care about. Then fans just scramble to messily fill in all the gaping holes and BS. Not worth even thinking about honestly.
My favorite franchise. Too bad every consecutive film is worse than the one before. The last 3 films should never have been made. I've always wanted to see a Yautja clan entering an alien hive and capturing a queen. That would be awesome if they did it right.
I’m not a fan of what was done with the Raefeal Adolini character in Prey. I don’t understand why they included that subplot when the comic book story is way better in every way
We can argue on which movies or comics are canon, but hopefully there is no discussion on the coexistence of the Alien and Predator franchises in the same universe. I think they fit rather nicely. And Prey was awesome, certainly the second best since 1987's.
@@DOC_951 that has nothing to do with whether i like it.. so from that I gather that i shoudl be influenced by a simple statistic as to whether i like something or not.. thanks for that
I always consider AvP to be a different separate universe to the canon series. It helps make up for all the glaring continuity issues. Prey however I think was the worst in the series. Completely unbelievable and its predator was designed by someone who apparently never watched the original movies. I also can't fathom why they haven't been able to make the predator's face look as good as the first. It was the only one that DIDN'T look like it was made of latex.
After the events of LA in 1997. That is when the cannon stops. Like the Alien series the first two films stick and after they stunk. Prey is the only exception in a following film in its series.
prey was the best Aliens movie since Aliens 2. they actually had a well written female lead, who didnt need to be impossibly strong and girl boss through the entire movie.
1718 is actually the 1st interaction of the predator movie cannon. very untrustworthy cannon IMO, however the cannon is heavily ignored thanks to hollywood
You got this all wrong the predator in 2018 is a renegade predator I believe and the one on from 2010 is also a predator who doesn’t follow the code. And kills anything . This is straight up false info.
The thing that I don't get is that the green predator's blood shouldn't give him a pink gum, our gum is pinkish because our blood is red, their blood is a neon green.
And then consider this: Predators are hunting Xenomorphs. They have a Xeno skull in P2. While in the Alien Prometheus and Covenant it is made clear that the Xenos were made far in the future by David 8. There should be a time travel done by the Yautja, bringing back the Xenos into past for hunting purposes. Also there may be some admiration for the Humankind being able to create something which is able to create something like Xenomorph. So them are following us due to this with curiosity..... There is a lot of material in these two franchises.
I kinda like the 1rst alien vs predator. I watched it ,not expecting a lot, and was actually not disappointed. I had fun and that s all i want from a movie really.😅 I ddnt watch the rest of the movies yet.
Damn cuzz!!! Since yo "I Quit" video u go hard. I completely undastand yo feelingz/clicc bait 🤣& errythang. But yo videoz ONLY GOTTEN BETTA!!! FYI i been yo fan fo da beginnin & I ain't goin nowherre!!!
You forgot to mention the great war, where Predators were fighting alongside humans from Earth against another faction of humans that weaponised Xenomorphs and used them to wipe out entire star systems...
I whould love to see a true prequel were the predators are just a primitive race and get invaded by other aliens who make them slaves, food, and entertainment (hunting games)
13:18 Skilled "Fighters" is a nice word for a bunch of rather skilled "KILLERS" considering one of them is not exactly a fighter but "something" else... Also all those big Yautja are most likely Bad Bloods meaning they are literally without rights within Yautja society and can be hunted freely to be put down like rabid animals.
The Predator movie I always wanted but never got, was a loose adaption of the AvP comic series by Dark Horse Comics. Especially, one that opens on the Alien's home planet, where group of Predators arrives like Seal Team 6 to battle their way through a hive and capture a queen, who is then brought back to their home planet and imprisoned so that her eggs can be harvested. Those eggs would be taken and placed on various planets that are used as proving grounds for young predators. But one of the planets turns out to be inhabited by humans who terraformed it. This leads to the Aliens infecting humans and various other animals living on the planet which overwhelms the young predators who are dumped there to prove themselves. Alternately, after a few defeats at the hands of the humans on earth, the predators deliver eggs to earth in the distant future, which ends up causing the extinction of the human race, and turning the planet into the Predator's most notorious hunting grounds.
I agree it should of started in 1718 since the pistol was giving to the guy after he killed the city hunter i haven't seen prey yet but i heard naru was giving the pistol which confuses me because how did it end up back into the predators hand again then given to harrigan 🤷 i can see it giving as a gift maybe but its still confusing
I want them to do a predator vs the creeper movie in the wild west. The plot could be the creeper is taking the predators kills or vice versa. Then Arnold comes back from the future to kill the predator that turns out was the jungle predator to save his team. In the end the predator takes dutchs time travel machine and goes back to the time where dutch was in the jungle with his team to kill them off so its a cycle. Dutch is then forced to take down the Creeper and says hes an uglier sob. The creeper eventually gets the upper hand and eat arnolds massive arms and ends up beating the fucking shit out of everyone. The end
The RU-vid channel "Bat in the Sun" did a really awesome "Wolverine VS Predator" live action short film in their "Superhero Beatdown" series. There's also a comic book and a motion comic for it on RU-vid also on the channel A Dead Guy's Productions.
You’re blatantly incorrect here. Prey is easily the most clever use of the already-existing universe’s lore. A series centered around, yes, PREDATOR hunters, who ultimately get out-thwarted by someone they didn’t even perceive as a problem turns the entire premise on its head and calls into question what qualifies one as either predator or prey in the first place. The fact that they made the character a woman who is also seemingly not valued by her tribe because of her gender is another layer of emphasis for the entire purpose of the film.
How about a movie with just Predators that defend thier colony over run with Xenomorphs? Minimal dialogue just killing. It’s been done successfully before.
