I vaguely remember an episode where Johnny actually wins. He's with a female spy and he inadvertently helps her defeat the villain. She puts on some special lipstick and gives him a kiss then she's paralyzed due to the lipstick and Johnny said "I have that effect on women". Good for him😂
Johnny never gets to keep the girls he actually bags, though. If they're not wacky monsters-of-the-week they're spies or villainesses. He never succeeds onscreen with a normal lady iirc
His creator and the producers said it was the point. If they show scenes where Johnny succeeds with women, than it wouldn't be funny. It would just be sexual innuendos meant for Adult Swim. Hence, the reason Johnny keeps being rejected by other women and dealing with his failures along with his lack of awareness. They thought it would be much funnier to show his rejection.
Then there is the one with the wolf lady, I mean sure count it as furry bait but got screwed because she also turned into a guy that collects stamps.. really random. (Not as much as the time he dated a deer.. if my memory doesn't betray me)
FYI everyone, jonny bravo aint no virgin, it is said that the show only shows his failures and that he had scored more than once, that's why in the episode of the island with beautiful women, he is spit by the volcano, because he isn't a virgin and also why he was concerned when they said virgin sacrifice
There was an episode where he inadvertently thwarted a jewel thief at every moment She couldn't physically overpower him, which is a rarity on the show as he's often folded in half and twisted into a pretzel, and trying to knock him out wouldn't work as his hair products cause his 'do to act like a natural helmet
It's worth noting that all the women who reject Johnny are NEVER demonized by show or even Johnny himself. The show is aware of what it's doing. Its like It's always Sunny but for kids.
Fun Fact: the Atlanta Braves made a request to have Jonny Bravo be their team mascot, unfortunately they wear denied, as compromise Cartoon Network agreed to make him the mascot of Turner Field's kids play place, witch became sponsored by CN and called Tooner Field, the sponsorship ended in 2012 during a major renovation to the main plaza. and was replaced with a generic 'family fun zone'.
I loved the episode where Bravo meets a leprechaun at the end of a rainbow and wishes for a bunch of chicks. The leprechaun grants his wish but the chicks were chickens. Lol. I thought that was clever
I mean, yeah. If your definition of a gigachad is someone who's extremely stupid, wants to screw every woman in his path, and only has one friend and it's a child.
@@Mercury-ok8ie and if you'd watch the show you'd know that he calls his diner and that in war flash backs there were people his own name calling him pops so clearly has nothing to do with being anyone's father
Origins Van Partible was born on December 13, 1971 He watched television throughout childhood and adulthood He went to the university to learn about animation so he can make cartoons An idea for a character was created The character is based on Elvis Presley, James Dean, and Michael Jackson In 1992, Partible created a film about Elvis impersonators fighting crime The character “Johnny Bravo” was chosen After the project became a success, Hanna-Barbera wants him to produce a show for Cartoon Network in 1995 In 1995, Johnny Bravo first appeared in What A Cartoon with two episodes titled Johnny Bravo and Johnny Bravo and The Amazon Women. On July 14, 1997, the actual series premiered in the summer. The episodes were written by Seth MacFarlane, Steve Marmel, and Butch Hartman The art element of Season One was fluid and smooth The episodes are parodies and featured guest stars In each episode, Johnny picks up ladies by saying pick up lines They included adult humor and pop culture references The first season was not well-received Some of the episodes were directed by Rumen Petkov and John McIntire Van Partible got fired after season one In 1999, the network decided to change the show to a much appropriate form The characters were retooled The episodes are into slapstick comedy
The "Incredible Shrinking Johnny" is my most fav episode ever everything from the beautiful witch shrinking Johnny , Johnny escaping the cop, Johnny escaping Suzy turning him to a doll, Johnny and Karl being chased by the giant Amoeba after returning to normal size and all everything was perfection, it is my no 1 recommendation for new viewers of Johnny Bravo.
I think you missing an episode, the one where Johnny dreams of being a woman and he got to be in a womans shoes by being cat called having men come up to him with their cheesy pickup lines. I am sure that was an episode, right?
the first time i saw Johnny Bravo, Dexter and Power Puff Girl it was in Switzerland in January 1997 at cartoon network. Even though i couldn't understand English back then, it was still entertaining to watch.
Johnny: *Shows about 5 cents of change that he has left to Officer after getting a 10$ Ticket* The Officer: *Takes him to Court* Johnny: *Gets 86 consecutive Life Sentences* i'm sorry, *what?*
9:28 Johnny:- teacher pls teach me how to get a woman His teacher:- *gets a kiss with giving a dog to a woman* PLAY THE GIGACHAD MUSIC EVERYONE HIS TEACHER IS A GIGACHAD 😂🌚🌚🌚
People who say the show is problematic kill any braincells I have left. If anything, in the Tate era, the show is even more topical as a comedy. Imagine Johnny watching pickup artist youtubers, taking it all straight faced, and the reactions he'll have to fave afterwards. Comedy. This is the best time to bring it back for a teen-adult audience.
he was a chad only thing bad was the hairstyle and the plots he was the most jacked dude in the show even other buff guys was slightly smaller then Johnny.
The only episode i think i dodnt see was "a new hunk in town" where jonny searches for the new hunk and eventually hides from it only to learn that it was a hunk of cheese 😊
Hey man great content you have there. Ive watched no less than 4-5 videos already, was searching for another one but you hadn't done it yet. Could you make a video got Lego Ninjago?
Johnny Bravo is the original black shirt 1997 So Your Saying I Have a Chance guy! We will never know what he’d do once he had a girl or if he ever has had one. There WAS a interesting crossover advert laundry room scene between him & Samurai Jack though
If you subscribe to the Theory that Jhonny is the age of his neighbor and thinks hes a big stud... and all the over the top, cartoony attacking Jhonny receives is just his feelings getting hurt when girls reject him. Makes all the times the younger girls liked Jhonny make sense... but also means Shaq was carrying a child by the head then wore him as a good luck backpack.
