Literally cried in the first five minutes! Best and the most authentic video about this festival that I've seen! As a GSB myself, a Maharashtrian, as an Indian this festival is much much much more than a festival. I live 10500 km away from home so the line when you mentioned about how far you've travelled, it broke me 😢

Ganpati is not just an idol or a festival its an emotion for every person in Mumbai. As residents of Mumbai we feel blessed to have Ganpati, not just for these 10 days of festivity but feel the lord's presence every single day as in the Siddhivinayak temple. Mumbai was , is and always be under the blessed and watchful eyes of Ganpati, the Goddess Mumbadevi and Babulnath. Mumbai as a city and its inhabitants have always thrived because of the blessings of all these Gods.

Kudos to national geographic for letting everyone on planet how incredible India is and how mega are its festivals...❤
