The Foo Fighters show at Ullevi Gothenburg is going down in Rock’n’roll history. During the second song of the set, the frontman Dave Grohl, falls from the edge of the stage. This follows a few minutes of confusion among audience and band until Dave gets a microphone and tells the audience he broke his leg during the fall. From the looks of it, the show is over. However, the drummer Taylor Hawkins offers a few songs by the rest of the band. And during the third song Taylor Hawkins get’s information Dave has not given up just yet… Dave is carried onstage, put on a chair with microphone and guitar. A doctor sits down by his side making sure the leg is keep in place.
However, the drama is not completely over, a few songs later the doctors takes him off stage for putting a plaster on backstage! Dave returns again, on crutches, and actually gets through the whole complete show. What a guy! And when they performed a singalong during an acoustic version of My Hero - Dave really was that hero!
