If you’re young and still live with your parents you should be super grateful and take advantage of the time you have left to save money. I got my first job at 17 and by the time I was 21 I already had 100k in savings but that’s all thanks to my mom who made me save every penny until I moved out and started my own family .
Exactly my parents have always told me work hard,save money,and while you're doing so we'll make sure you're housed and fed so you don't have to worry about that,that's what good parents do they take care of you and are always there for you no matter what happens.
Same! I never struggled with money because I was lucky to have parents who didn't want me out of the house as soon as I turned 18. They let me live with them rent free, which allowed me to save a lot of money, and I'm intending to offer the same to my kids. This can really help so much and it's why I resent this "What a loser, they still live with their parents as an adult"- mentality.
I think the first guy actually meant what he said when he talked about a "chemical depression" but that he was alluding to depression from a chemical imbalance. The kind where your dopamine and serotonin receptors in your brain don't work properly and you slowly stop feeling satisfaction overall. But he just phrased it really weird.

So yes, we are learning about money in school.
