Most of the other questionnaires had me like "haha what a quirky questionnaire!" This one made me feel like i was taking a finals test and missed half of the classes
So there I was, seven minutes in finishing an ice cream cone like a toddler, when I had a fun idea. ASMR where you show and demonstrate us how to do something easy wherein the viewer is intended to interact and copy your actions would be very fun. Things like tying a shoe and making a sandwich, things like that :) I often struggle with dealing with loud sounds, so I listen to a LOT of this channel’s ASMR while doing other things. Thanks much for everything, parasocial internet man!
i started watching your channel in sixth grade. i turned 21 last september. i know that’s not an incredibly long time, but it is an incredible amount of change for a youtube channel to survive. i don’t watch any youtuber that i was watching in sixth grade. they’ve disappeared or lost my interest. but your channel was a consistent part of my life during some obviously inconsistent times. i don’t wanna kiss your ass or anything, idk how it feels to have random strangers telling you how important you are to them. but i will say your channel been consistently interesting and relaxing, and i’m just impressed that i still love your content despite how much has changed for me. so, if i have a point at all, it’s that. you’ve kept my attention since i was eleven years old and i have never doubted your creativity. i know you get a lot of complimentary comments about your creativity and quality of your work. i imagine that eventually they start to blend together, to the point where you can’t really feel too complimented anymore since it’s so ubiquitous. so i hoped that this anecdote would make an impact. teenage years are full of change and re-assessment, and your content fully survived that process for me. i think that’s quite a glowing commendation.
I’m not going to ride off your comment and say that I share a similar sentiment, because I’m sure my experiences were (and will continue to be) vastly different from yours- even now I feel as though your comment made me think thoroughly about what I would reply with to agree without being redundant or somehow take away from your comment, as it is well written. I will instead add to your comment. As someone who agrees with your final statements about teenage life and maturity, I too find myself amazed with how many other people share the one similarity of consistently visiting this channel. Personally, I feel as though the consistency of his content has given me something to come back to and enjoy some creative “food for thought” and unwind. I am still only 19 now, and the amount of change that has happened since I first watched one of ER’s videos a little over 6 years ago is staggering. Even if your comment may not reach it’s intended recipient, it has still found it’s way to my eyes, and I enjoyed reading it.
I work at a restaurant for minimum wage and for horrible hours, but we can listen to music or whatever and his videos and talks are the only thing that keeps me from opening a black hole and consuming all reality, thank you rift for making our days better P.s: i do not fall asleep on the job
You could open a black hole, tear the fabric of reality, and destroy everything as we know it. Yet the government will still find some way to make you pay taxes.
Sorry Mr. Rift, which universe is this questionnaire occurring in? Is it Universe SB7882340 or is it Universe A78234? The Clemmons brothers' chemistry differs so much in each universe (if they are brothers in that universe).
Excuse Sir, if you don't mind me asking, but when will our results for the questionnaire become public? I know you said you had to get everyone inside the ERU, and you estimated a Millenia, but i was wondering if you had a more specific date,
Enjoyed the video, made me think that a good topic for your Tuesday Talks with Paul might review some of your older videos, just what you were thinking, what was going on in the world, whatever. They are little time capsules and might be fun to revisit them. Anyhow, just a random thought on my way to relaxation and thought I’d share.
Him: "In 10,000 words or less describe why you enjoy being a resident in the ERU?" Me: "Please consider this my application in joining the ERU and below I am attaching my motivation letter with an interest in the position of psychotherapist at Arkham Sanatorium" Tending to non-human patients alongside enigmatic doctors who employ sinister and unfathomable treatment methods, a sense of twisted enjoyment seeps into the depths of my being. 1. Sinister enigmas: Within this desolate and nightmarish realm, every moment unveils new and macabre mysteries. Caring for non-human patients requires delving into the depths of their tortured psyches, navigating a labyrinth of twisted thoughts and fragmented identities. The incessant pursuit of solving these enigmas becomes an addictive and perverse source of pleasure. 2. Eerie empathy: As I plunge deeper into the shadowy abyss of non-human minds, I unearth a dormant capacity for empathy tinged with a macabre fascination. Peering into the haunting depths of their tortured souls, I become entwined in their suffering, finding a twisted solace in unraveling their darkest secrets and bearing witness to their shattered psyches. 3. Unholy experiments: Within the oppressive confines of this grim asylum, unspeakable experiments are conducted, their purpose shrouded. Non-human subjects become vessels for ghastly procedures for their relaxation. Yet, in this twisted theater of horrors, an unholy fascination compels me to witness the grotesque ballet of relaxation, rehabilitation and transformation. 4. Veiled darkness: The asylum harbors a web of nefarious alliances, its corridors whispering secrets and whispers that chill the very marrow of one's bones. Shadowy figures, clad in tattered lab coats, move with calculated purpose, their intentions obscured behind unhuman smiles. Each encounter with these enigmatic doctors becomes a life altering experience, as I tread a treacherous path where the line between healer and tormentor blurs into oblivion. Anyway, let me know if there are any position available Much love for your work ER
Hey ER! Random question to ask but do you remember your Sacred Oil Can of ASMR video? I was just wondering because it holds one of my favourite bits you’ve done just on the spot, pretending that the viewer is a tin person, I was wondering could we see the Sacred Oil Can of ASMR once again for another oil change?
question 6, my first thought before the answers were given was "how funny would it be if he says 'cookies' as one of the answers" After so many years of watching your videos, I'm starting to know you too well, Uncle Rift! Thank you for yet another great video
i have a love-hate relationship with your content cause it’s so good and funny but also so good at being asmr that i fall asleep before finishing the video and miss out on all the references, so much so to the point where i come back each night and try to tough through the asmr with the goal of hearing the whole thing in its full. it’s like a challenge and by the unspeakable horrors beyond the cosmos will i conquer it
I’ve been watching rift long enough to have stayed awake though some of his vids from start to finish. You know you REALLY can’t sleep when you finish a rift vid.
I know you make them opened ended, with no given answers for a reason. But I think would be funny if you did one "answering your questionnaire" but it was just you rambling on about random stuff like we are asking you the crazy questions.
It’s simple, I seen any form of ERU video, I click, I sleep. In all seriousness, the ERU videos are your best work, the lore and universe you created is absolutely incredible, I know you said you struggle for ideas with them now, but I’d watch 100 videos in a row of TFHS questionnaires if I could!
4:30 ahh the Super Bic.. Paul, bit of a tangent-- but you should check out Project Zomboid. You will die. Hell of a good time, especially with friends. Lots of great attention to detail and realism in an isometric zombie survival game set in Kentucky, c. 1993!
@@itskaiks3469 Unfortunately good sir I make not much noise while I slumber. However if I could choose I would go with the superior " *SNORE* mimimimimiiii" option.
Just sprained my ankle very badly a few minutes ago so I'm gonna listen to the funny asmr man to make me feel better Update; it's actually a fracture lol oops
KIND-NAPPED!!! That was the first asmr video I EVER watched! You helped me sleep during the most anxious time of my life in highschool. Your let’s eat videos were what I watched while eating during summer vacation because I was always alone. Thank you Uncle E.
I feel like i was taking a test on the very first day of school and knew nothing However as a couple diffrent teachers say If you dont know the answer, pick c If you dont know the answer, pick the longest answer there is If you dont know the answer, compare the options and look for similarities between the answers to get the best possible guess The choices were a little too long to do anything but pick c so… like most of my answers were just c
I remember the first time I ever had any experiences in the eru and the first time I ever watched you was the day after the good mythical morning episode where your nurse Iggy m Manly was showcasing his nut sack and various other items. I was instantly enthralled with the random, chaotic yet orderly and structured nature of your content. From there I basically binged your channel until I couldn't watch anymore, and from than on you've been the only consistent ASMR channel I've enjoyed throughout this whole time. Legitimately impressive content with nothing more than props and a script. No fancy cgi, no insane production value, just genuinely human entertainment that benefits both parties. Thank you.
Have you ever considered making an audio book series? Maybe talking about and reading a chapter of your favorite book while doing audio notes or costumes for characters?
Uncle ER I just want you to know you’ve been an integral part of my life since 4th grade I’m in 8th now that’s 4 years no RU-vidr has kept my interest for that long I appreciate all of you content.
>be me >be Riftwalking >Questionnaire! >"Bröwn shoe, brown shöe, brown shoe, iäe iäe kut'hul'hu fäthäng, rubber chicken pineapple [REDACTED]!" >fells on a sleep >gets a score of 75,12936278109642 points!
