It on sale i am wondering if i should get the first one and 2 or just the 2nd one what do you think is the first one still fun or would the second would be fun and 1st just be boring?
I’ve had quite different experiences. Mostly positive. I agree, that the game is not thaaat fun. At least if you are alone. I had one heck of a good time playing with my friend.
I personally had the exact same experience you did. The game felt polished and I felt like I SHOULD enjoy it considering how much I loved the first. But I dunno, I just didn't have FUN playing it. Everything felt like it was either too easy or way too hard. Getting inteligence or strength/dex was braindead easy and took no time at all but looking though desk after desk just for the occasional thing thats useful was just painfully boring.
I dont really agree with most your points 1 you forgot to mention that there is MULTIPLAYER ESCAPES 2 You never mentioned that there is 3 types of escapes in each prison perimeter breakout,Solo escape and Multiplayer escape 3 You played the game too much like the escapists 1 you can escape during the day 4 You can pretend to be a human when your an alien, you can make a plane, You can steal a helicopter, You can fake death. 5 you said the game was Unrealistic it has to be Unrealistic to make it fun but you think digging with spoons is fun? 6 In final even tho you played for eight hours you didnt stay open minded The only thing I can agree with is that the game isnt that noob friendly but it is way more noob friendly then the first
I absolutely loved the first game. The Escapists 2 has much more cheesy escapes like the camera crew one in Perks 2.0, which I don’t really like. It takes away all the stress of escaping which is what made escaping in Escapists 1 so fun, with the nerve-wracking Lights Out music and the thought that any second you could be caught and all your progress would be lost. Escapists 2 doesn’t really have that, even when you escape normally it just doesn’t feel the same. That’s just my opinion though
Ummm lemme make a list, -better graphics -better gamplay -new amazing features -new special prisons to play (THERE IS LEGIT AREA 51 WHERE U TRY TO ESCAPE IT AS AN ALIEN!) -new multiplayer feature to play with friends (there is also multiplayer versus which changes the game drastically) -nice catchy music And finally... -Unique escapes (ex: taking over the plane your in and forcing it to land, taming a dolphin and riding it out of a prison that’s in the middle of the ocean, and Getting help from an inmate to get a rock hammer to use the vents to get the heck outta there) Seriously, if you like escapists 1 one bit, you will certainly like escapists 2
Funny thing: I tried it, and i found it to be way to quick. You had less than a minute for each daily routine, until you had to be somewhere else. Didn´t feel like i had more than a few uninterupted seconds for exploring the prison, or thinking about a way to get out. And despite the fact that the idea sounded great to me, the actual game felt exhausting. Luckily i realzed this when i had played less than an hour, and could refund it.
I did despise it too for controlling and graphics (because it felt more like Escapists 1 console one which i disliked). But i got used to it and I think it was more fun than the first game. Especially when i played it with friends. With my friends we completed the game 100% with every escape out there including DLC's and have played it 90 hours so the game was definetely worth in my opinion.
Question, how many levels are there? Like, can you tell in comparison to how much that you did? From the sounds of it, it may be that they're just getting you started at that point. One issue I had with the game was the difficulty spikes when I played. I got through the first non-tutorial level and I think I got most of the materials together in the second level but I never escaped to find out how much more I needed because there's such a huge spike in difficulty, but if it gradually builds you up to that point where it'll ask you to use different materials each time and adds more depth as the game goes on, then I feel like this game will be more approachable for somebody inexperienced like me.
there are 16 prisons. the tutorial prison, center perks 2.0, rattlesnake springs, kapow camp, area 17, hmp offshore, fort tundra, uss anomaly, cougar creek railroad, hms orca, air force con and some dlc prisons.
