I receive communion on the tongue. And now, because of this, I learned that I should receive Communion: Kneeling, and from the Priest. While not necessary, it's reverent. And I don't care if I am the only one doing it. Glory be to God! And the Holy King of all Kings, the God who stands among all gods, in the Most Holy Eucharist! Arise, o God! bring salvation to those through the Eucharist!
right now I'm the only one to kneel for communion and receive on the tongue in my parish and also the two surrounding. I am going through some persecution for it but I will do it until I die or cannot physically achieve it any more. I'm 43 and came back to the church after 20 yrs away. I have been forgiven so much and blessed so much that I have been compelled by my love and there is no compromise now. Thank You for this video. It made me cry. I want to be a saint someday now I know how.
The Eucharist is the sole reason why I can't leave the Church. May God grant us strength to be faithful warriors of Christ especially in these trying times.
Since we have stopped recieving Jesus down on our knees, and recieving Jesus in the hands, we have lost that feeling of the greatest Holiness for Jesus, a guy that iknow recieves Holy Communion every time on both knees, people ask him why? He says if Jesus appeared to you, which he does every communion, would you be standing or kneeling?......
Communion should be received kneeling down. It’s only proper. And when churches used to have kneelers for recovering communion, it was a perfect and reverent process. Now that this is not prominent, however, I don’t know if it should be done, for these two reasons. 1. Because you will most definitely stand out, and while this can touch the souls of some, it can also give off the “look how holy I am” vibe, which will only harden peoples souls to it. 2. Because you could easily strip someone behind you, which would severely take away from the solemnity of the moment of Communion.
When I converted I received Jesus on my tongue. Then, I started to receive in the hand. The first time I did this, I was afraid. Now I realize that this is because my conscience was telling me that something was wrong. For over a year, I've only received on the tongue and I will never change this.
I was visiting the holy Eucharist three times a week for the past three years until this pandemic and I’ve noticed radical changes, and abundance’ in my life, God loves us abundantly and he loves performing miracles, Praying and believing and visiting him is beautiful, and worth his love, and eternity. He❤️is faithful and merciful God bless us all.Thank you God for sending this young Speaker to open up the life’s of all youth amen Lord ♥️🙏 🤗🥰📿🌹
I loved hearing this message. We could all put these tips to use daily. Imagine a world in which everyone put Christ as the center of our lives. He is God and deserves the respect and love from us daily. Thank you for sharing this message. God bless you!
wow its so beautiful to hear what you say about the Eucharist... God bless you abundantly and wish and pray that you touch many more hearts with your inspiring talks .
As a convert I was taught to genuflect at pew. In front of tabernacle the Church I went to bowed before Tabernacle. Thanks for education I am a older woman. I will try to genuflect see if I am able.
You're so filled with the Holy Spirit! Thank you!! I will start slowly genuflecting tomorrow and start receiving Jesus while kneeling. Please pray that I will only be filled with humility while doing these acts. May God continue to guide you and speak through you!
Thank you Gabriel for putting this video out, man you are making a difference in the world and for Christ and Christ only, and I commend you for being a real young man. I am proud to share this video with everyone I come in contact with.. YOU are the one making a difference. Wish I could meet you one day
Thank you! Amen! I can't stand when people are talking in the church before and after Mass. I'm trying to pray and they're chatting it up close to me, with no regard for Jesus and for those trying to pray.
Thank you for being a powerful witness for God. I hope this video will bring more people back to the Catholic church. I really love going to the daily Mass. Adoration is the most powerful place to spend your time conversing with Jesus after the Mass. Jesus will transformed your life to become more holy person when you spend more time with Him in the Blessed Sacrament. May God bless you.
I hope that this has changed since you posted this comment! haha. I love the Church, and the Latin Mass is a wonderful, beautifully resplendent expression of Her glory, the glory of Christ Himself given to us!
OMG...so proud of people like you..thank you for leting Holy Spirit work ..I love you brother in Christ ...This is the first time I saw your video ...it made me cry of joy
Thank you and God bless you - your faith talks are the most inspiring and motivating I have ever heard - how can I not say YES after listening to your wisdom - you are truly blessed and graced by the Lord.
Thank you for being a true teacher and support of the Church, God and Mother Mary. These are amazing and necessary reminders. Continue to send these messages, reminders and support because we need to shake from our fears and lack of showing respect. We have to lead by example, and we have to spread these reminders and be the vessels of God's children to those who may need to know how to follow. Can you please consider teaching others how to teach in our churches? It's mind blowing how these things are not spreading or being shared. Many are turning away for the exact reasons you mentioned here, as well as the lack of commitment. Our teachers are failing us, our leaders in the churches are failing us, by not expressing these exact points. I am guilty for turning away for most of my life because they have shown so little respect in the church, so why should I? Was my way of thinking. You opened my eyes and shifted the script, so much respect for you doing this video. I truly would have never thought of these important acts of respect, so thank you. 🙏🏼
Yea I feel that same way. I think I was the only person who genuflected during my graduation mass when I passed the altar. I felt kind of embarrassed but I did it for God.
God bless you, you’re so right for what you say and I love the way you talk and explain how the love of God works in all of us and to be the most respective way we all need to do in church in front of the presents of the Eucharist, keep doing these videos.
wow I thought I was pious, mosre pious than most people around me, but this is really an eye opening, i do much of the stuff mentioned in this video, but it really got me going to do the whole kneeling before receiving communion thing, ill let you guys know how it turns out hehe Thanks for this video, such an eye opener!! greetings from mexico city!
hi i really liked your video you have been blessed and yes i always kneel when i enter a church and when i get up to leave our lord really is in the body and blood like you in our parish we tend to talk i some times get carried away trough ignorance iam a sinner and i feel i can not say anything altough some times i feel i must, i never know if iam doing or saying the right thing thanks god bless
I am one of those in our Church who kneels and receives Holy Communion in the tongue.I felt different , something in me have changed .I love you Jesus! I really need to genuflect slowly. Thanks for this.
Amen...continue to be the light in darkness!! Im the only one in my parish who receives our Lord on my knees and tongue as well. Wherever the priest goes I go.
I added this on your Part One also, but here goes one more time... It is simply a no-brainer IF we believe what our Church teaches. If this is truly the body and blood of Christ, we are to take every reasonable precaution. And that quite simply precludes Holy Communion in the hand. At all. Ever. Just because some in the Church have fought for and gotten "permission" for it does not make it the best route to take. I never plan to receive that way again personally, and would challenge everyone reading this or watching this video to consider strongly doing likewise. It is not a matter of being scrupulous, but rather believing that every particle contains ALL of God. And not only contains but IS God in His substance. No other earthly element, not the trees nor the water nor other humans, is God, even though He dwells within and with each of them in one manner or another. But in this case, after the consecration, we are taking God within us. We are not just "eating" Him but receiving HIm in His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. I will add something else here too, and that is to have a clean mouth, sanitation wise, as well as drinking some water after Mass is a good practice as well. With a swish or two. Particles can remain in one's teeth otherwise and literally go down the drain if you do not do so. Does that sound fanatical? Good. If you ever watch the priest carefully cleaning the chalice and drinking the particles on the altar which are brushed into it after the Eucharist is distributed you will notice he too is a fanatic. It is so easy to be just a bit more reverent. And it is our Lord we are either honoring or desecrating. The one who made us and who died for us. And the one who will one day judge our eternity. I do not think the extra moments of preparation and care afterwards could even begin to compare with what He has done for us by even bothering to give us this utterly amazing gift.
I wish the Priests would be talking about this. There is something wrong when they refuse to teach the truth of the Eucharist. May the Holy Spirit guide them and give them the courage to speak about the things that will save souls.
Fantastic video! I never knew about genuflecting when entering a church. Unfortunately I'm self-taught when it comes to these things. :/ I can not thank you enough for this video. It's nice to have re-encouragement like this! Out of hundreds of people in my parish, I'm one of only a few who accepts communion on the tongue and the only one who wears a mantilla. I stinks that I'm in a wheelchair now and can't genuflect or kneel! I'm glad to see an interest in the old traditions! :)
I'm not worthy to receive Him on my hands. I receive on my tongue on my knees. If my shoes are cumbersome I remove them or make sure I have comfortable shoes. Nothing will stop me from getting on my knees to receive THE MOST HOLY JESUS.
@@gabiafterhours i go to confession once a week pray 7 sorrows and rosary and divine mercy daily but i dont know what you mean by fervent communion? How do i apply that? May i have an example on a fervent communion? I go to traditional latin mass any advices would be so helpful thank you for your videos on this and on the Father wound. I look forward to seeing more.
I feel SOOOOOOOOOOO betrayed by my church for not teaching me these things. I spent about 17 years of my life (minusthe 4-5 years for toddlership) in TOTAL ignorance of why we should recieve Holy Communion at all, let alone its meaning. I remember asking myself "Why are we here?", "Why are we doing this?", "Why is there a guy on a Cross?", and especially for my first communion, "Why are we doing this?". Siigghh..... Luckily I did learn later, but I don't think that my case is a single incident and that is probably why no one pats reverence or has faith in the Holy Eucharist. The live of God is not inspired into young hearts. That SHOULD change. Pray that it does guys.
Ok, so I commented yesterday in your rosary video. So many enlightenments has occurred to me since I prayed the rosary yesterday. I returned to my faith 5 years ago by Gods mercy and grace. And I feel exactly the way you do. I have received so much persecution from my family, friends and priests. My husband is a convert and feels also the same way. But I will tell you, over the years, seeing irreverence by priest and laity and suffering chastisement from priest I feel my little flame just wavering. Not to leave the faith ever but discouragement. We have a church here who celebrates the Latin Mass but the priest is very unkind in speech. Belittles his reverent parishioners and I don’t want my son to learn that behavior. My 9 yr old wants to be a priest. It’s vital I find a role model who is traditional but also a channel of Gods love and mercy. I don’t think the Lord cares one bit if we genuflect but then treat others with a cold heart. We must do both, have extreme reverence but also show joy and love and mercy to others. And I find that a hard balance. I find I will rash judge so many even the priest when I attend an irreverent Mass. Then I’m sinning. Then if I see traditional Catholics who act like the saducess I rash judge them. I need those four rosaries 😩
@GabiAfterHours Hello, Gabriel! I love your defense of kneeling! As a server I sometimes can't receive kneeling and being apart of a specific group it would look un-uniform to kneel and even disruptive. I understand your message and I hold it to heart to kneel all the time but when I'm serving I don't want to make everyone on the altar look out of wack because I want to EXTRA reverence. My parish is already hostile to those who try to go the extra mile among the laity. Mediocrity reigns! HELP!!
Great stuff! I may start kneeling.. I do have a bit of a petty question though.. What do we say to those who think the people who kneel to receive are just being self-righteous? (Same goes for women who wear mantillas and other stuff like that..) I've heard this attitude from lots of folks lately
It's between you and your God. Don't pay attention. I do both and I don't look around for approval from man. It's for Jesus. Do what you need to do and go about your day. They will get tired and move on eventually.
