The emperor and empress in the video are the founders of the Celestial Empire, Chen Xianlian, the emperor of the southern Chu Dynasty, and Yue Rulan, the empress of the northern Yan Dynasty. Both dynasties were established shortly after the collapse of the Mongolian Empire. In the 17th century, Mongolia rose again, and the Yan declined because of successive natural disasters and plagues. They were unable to resist the aggression of Mongolia and its vassals. Even the empress's father, the last Yan Emperor, died in the war against the invasion of Mongolia. So, the Yan had to ask the Chu for help, and the two countries formed an alliance to fight against Mongolia. Shortly after defeating the Mongol invasion, empress Yan married the crown prince of Chu who led the reinforcements to support Yan, and the country was reunified. They both served as the emperor and Empress of the new imperial dynasty, and renamed the country Celestial empire.

Yup it sure is, beta version is pretty buggy tho, I am able to launch the game but the game closes itself when you try to lunch a match

Even tho the offical lore is set in (after) the Song Dynasty (南宋), but this gives me more of a Tang Dynasty feeling. Because in tang Dynasty there was a period called "二圣临朝“ ("The Court of the Two Holy Ones"), where the Empress and the Emperor ruled the Empire together. And it was arguably one of the best and glorious period in the Chinese History.

Song had a weak military and a very corrupted bureaucrat. Because the first emperor was a usurper and he feared that the military would revolt against the imperial court.(He was the general and knew how to hold power in the military ranked) So he wrote the mandate of the Song dynasty which only allow non-military officers/imperial scholars (Nerds) to be the military leaders. These prevent any possibility of an uprising in the empire. But weaken the empire's military strength and allow outside forces to take advantage of the sickening giant.

@@hidefreek6905 on the contrary. The Song Dynasty had the most sophisticated military and civil administration of all the Chinese dynasties. Their command structure remained intact even after their southern capital fell into the Yuans. It was a feat that they lasted so long against Jin and Yuan.

@@iondu655 Yep, but their military strength was shaved out bit by bit. Until they couldn't have any fighting strength to fight Yuan. (They hold themselves against Jin after reformation) The Song might be the best if they could fight off the corruption and infrastructure stagnancy in the empire. Normally, the power must be balanced so the empire would have room to adjust and fix the problem. Song simply fears inside rebellion too much, thus weakening its military prowess for stability.

@@hidefreek6905 To my knowledge, they only trim down their military arm in the early era of the dynasty. A good move to avoid unbalanced military influence within the court (it was the military that propelled them into power, after all). However, the military infrastructure during the Southern Song era was efficient and innovative. You are right about corruption within the dynasty or should I say chronic court factionalism. The Song court had a history of petty men disgracing effective military leaders. A cause that led to their demise under Jin and later the Yuan onslaught.

It was the empire's founding event. These two were the first emperor and empress of the newly established Celestial empire after completely defeated the Mongol and its vessel. - After Tatsu killed all the Mongol core leaders, The Chinese managed to liberate themselves and found two empires. [the north and the south one] - The north always fought the Mongols until great catastrophe strike them and in the blink of defeat. The North and The South united against the Mongols and end its threat once and for all. [the North ruled by empress after her father died during the battle against the mongols] - Eventually, The Northern empress married the Southern's crown prince and China unified and rename the Celestial empire.

@@ignacionegretti for first question, it was western but now mostly America. For second question, you really no need to agree with someone’s ideal to make businesses with him? For most of the country in the world they have to get help from us government if they missed the train from industry revolutions, that’s sort of how most of “developing country being modernized” by US ideology, like japan, Korean, Vietnam. Theirs prosperity based on US. So that’s why people think modernized = no traditional.another example, US altered japans people’s preference on main food with education for selling crops more, that is the lost they have to be part of the world economy.
