Bird dog lyrics:
Johnny is a joker (he's a bird)
A very funny joker (he's a bird)
But when he jokes my honey (he's a dog)
His jokin' ain't so funny (what a dog)
Johnny is a joker that's a'tryin' to steal my honey (he's a bird dog)
Johnny sings a love song (like a bird)
He sings the sweetest love song (ya ever heard)
But when he sings to my gal (what a howl)
To me he's just a wolf dog (on the prowl)
Johnny wants to fly away and puppy-love my baby (he's a bird dog)
Hey, bird dog get away from my quail
Hey, bird dog you're on the wrong trail
Bird dog you better leave my lovey-dove alone
Hey, bird dog get away from my chick
Hey, bird dog you better get away quick
Bird dog you better find a chicken little of your own
Johnny kissed the teacher (he's a bird)
He tiptoed up to reach her (he's a bird)
Well he's the teacher's pet now (he's a dog)
What he wants he's been gettin' now (what a dog)
He even made the teacher let him sit next to my baby (he's a bird dog)
Hey, bird dog get away from my quail
Hey, bird dog you're on the wrong trail
Bird dog you better leave my lovey-dove alone
Hey, bird dog get away from my chick
Hey, bird dog you better get away quick
Bird dog you better find a chicken little of your own
Till I kissed you lyrics:
Never felt like this until I kissed ya
How did I exist until I kissed ya
Never had you on my mind
Now you're there all the time
Never knew what I missed 'til I kissed ya, uh-huh
I kissed ya, oh yeah
Things have really changed since I kissed ya, uh-huh
My life's not the same now that I kissed ya, oh yeah
Mmm, ya got a way about ya
Now I can't live without ya
Never knew what I missed 'til I kissed ya, uh-huh
I kissed ya, oh yeah
[Chorus:]
You don't realize what you do to me
And I didn't realize what a kiss could be
Mmm, ya got a way about ya
Now I can't live without ya
Never knew what I missed 'til I kissed ya, uh-huh
I kissed ya, oh yeah
[Chorus]
[Fade]
I kissed ya, uh-huh
I kissed ya, oh yeah

Their country accents come on so fine with this tune. It's why I loved them in 1957 when I was 9, and to this day. Seeing them live was an all time music high. Natives of Kentucky as my own ancestry....Central City's Everly Brothers heritage there is phenomenal.

Way behind the Chinese better school system All of our Politicians bear responsibility for our school system. A lot of kids I know get Home schooled our schools are to dangerous, the teachers don't care & in some schools the kids are smarter than their teachers. Teachers are lazy, unintelligent, & ill prepared & always threaten to strike for benefits & higher wages they should have to earn them like everyone else. Plus that fuckin Obama care ruined healthcare benefits for middle class employees by raising premiums & amount needed to get some of the expensive used to be about $500 deductible for whole family now $500 for each member. He's no better than Reagan or either Bush. The only thing Clinton did wrong was getting caught getting a Blow job from a fat ugly bitch & sign that stupid Republican bill for NAFTA. Other than that he was one of the best in the 20th century. Finally a balanced budget that little Bush immediately took us in the red for Trillions of Dollars.

Older generations during these times felt exactly the same way about this kind of music I assure you. To them, The Beatles and Elvis made the devils music. They were a frightning symbol of society's moral degeneration and would erode the very moral codes that held it together. Then, years later the same generation that grew up on this music here dismissed Nirvana and Rage against the Machine as whiney, angsty crap. A symbol that society was getting lazy, lacked discipline and that the young were losing their sense of responsibility. Now it's just Millennials repeating the same cycle saying newer music lacks creativity and depth, a symbol of how artistic expression and thus society is becoming shallow and commercialized. Older generations will always fight against the youth, but they never win. They can say that modern art lacks quality and effort all they want, that's what they've always said. But that's only because they have a vastly different taste in music and just don't like it. But there's no such thing as worse or better when it comes to art. How could there be? What standards are you holding it to? There's no truly objective way we can measure this. You're just going to have to accept that tastes change.

Genetic harmony can be stunning! The Beach Boys were also fantastic... however listen to the Beatles's vocal blend and notice how 'Because' (from Abby Road) proves exquisite resonance and timbre can exist even among unrelated singers. A less noted aspect of what made the Everly Bothers' so intriguing was their regional accent and innovative use of bluegrass harmonic intervals in pop music.

Re comments that say it was Phil’s tenor harmonies that gave the Everlys their distinct sound: that’s literally only half the story. It was the combination of Don’s tenor-baritone lead alongside Phil’s tenor - both in the same genetic/DNA vocal tone - that made their sound unique.

STATE OF THE ART rock at the time. When the band kicks in on Bird Dog, pretty heavy.

Where can I get the video in better quality? This part of the performance is cut in the other files and they go to the part of all i have to do is dream and cathy's clown. they omit this first part in the other videos.
