My father (not Muslim. Not religious) said he would not give consent for me to marry at 17. But imams in UK are saying the 5 year olds should marry. Certainly that’s illegal in UK. A kindergarten child cannot get married legally in the US but you can at 17 if you have a related adult sign papers and a judge sign papers.

When I have talked to former Christians they usually leave because of some science they read. I correct them verbally and tell them where to Google it but no one has. The explanation is enough and they start to tear up. A few times people abruptly leave rudely. That's OK. They heard. Most others let me pray with them!
