There's a sequel or prequel I can't remember actually in talks right now so why is he doing this it's throwing us off.. But it's Hollywood he's Russell Crowe. But these movies sadly make the new Exorcist: Believer look bad. Even the new pet cemetery: bloodlines did
@@Letha-MaeMy other half and I saw the new exorcist movie. It was terrible, and demons can’t possess two people at once. It may have been two demons lying. The one thing I do agree with this movie on is that none of those people were able to get them out. The only reason the original was able to is because the priest invited the thing into himself, otherwise they never would have gotten it out of her. Only reason Catholic exorcisms work most of the time is because the demon goes out willingly. So long as the person stays in the Catholic Church the demon doesn’t care.
When I saw Russell Crow on the picture of the new movie, I immediately thought that this might be a sequel to the pope's exorcist but when i heard him speak in the movie without an Italian accent, I was quite disappointed that this is not the case.
By the creator of The Scream Franchise they mean that one of the guys who wrote scream has a producers credit. And by the producers of Halloween they mean the new Halloween movies. They also produced The Last Sharknado: It's About Time. Not that this looks bad.
‘ By the Producers of…..’ and ‘ Executive Producer ‘ are worthless credits. As you said ‘by the producers of ‘ is a very tenuous link to something that was successful and may even be missleading and not actually mean the film you think they’re referring to….Executive Producers get paid for linking their name to a film they had fuck all to do with and probably will never see, or want to see - they’re selling their name - it’s one step above a ‘tiktok star’ endorsing a lipstick.
Man they definitely went a different direction from part 1 sigh thats too bad...edited i was wrong i believe there is no connection to The Popes Exorcist
@@giuffre714 i was wrong its a separate movie, completely different character but same actor. The movie i was referencing is The Popes Exocist...as Russell Crowe playing an exorcist very recent movie which is why I thought they were connected.
Movies today just seem to much alike in past fifteen years. Same look same sound effects. I go back and watch 80s and 90s movies much better and they aged well.
Man, can't believe David Hyde Pierce chose a small role in a B movie like this and refusing to return to his iconic Niles role on the Frasier reboot. Must be some bad blood or something that rubbed Pierce the wrong way on Frasier.
If he was possessed by a demon, he wouldn't be calling his lesbian daughter a "dyke."" while possessed. This movie takes a nose-dive after about this first 30 or 40 minutes.
I hope the movie is scarier than the trailer because absolutely NOTHING happened in this trailer. The only thing shocking I saw was how fat Russell Crowe has gotten! I predict this thing dies quickly at the box office.🤧
@@jeep69 I really hope you decided not to go. They probably filmed the movie with their phone in friends house. Cheesy, very loud jumpscares, very dark screen and half of the movie was about crowe's tomboy chubby 16 year old lesbian daughters emotions. We were 5 people in the cinema, everyone left.
