Proper adequates must be taught to all generations of people. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have had people touch my cars and/or even show the audacity to get into them without asking me. Most people don't understand this but every car has a specific way that you should get in-and-out so you don't cause damage...!
very true even with normal car at the car show and people think it is not worth must to them and trash that car. It is a not value to you but it is for the owner. Every car taking to the show is the owner take good care of or proud of them
This video is too good! Everything said here has been in my rule book for as long as I’ve own cars. So few people understand that. Can be very frustrating. I would just add do not enter car with dirty shoes 😂
I know you think you are being funny, but these are rules for ANY car, not just exotics. It doesn't matter if you can afford to own or repair the car, it's not your car, all these rules apply! Period.
This video cracks me up! This is such good advice and I'm surprised that all these points needs to be reiterated. By the way, that Bugatti is georgous! God forbid that someone gets in that car after having just moisturized their hands and starts touching the leather.
The kid section will be hard to apply witnessed manyyy kids putting their hands all over an aventador at one show. Parents dont give a F*** and some will even argue if the owner says something.
I just want to say, this video should be retitled. Not bad what was said, but sort of doesn't fit some criteria. I'm going to be straight up honest. My buds father owns a 675LT and he's the chillest with it and he himself even owned a 570S Spider. And that was never a garage queen. So it got dirty from time to time and he was cool with it. Cars aren't meant to be babied or garage queens unless you know for a fact it will make you over a million dollars more than what you got it for. So if I'm honest this list of criteria in this video depends on the car. Either it should be retitled to "Teaching common sense to those that don't have it." Or "Proper Hypercar Etiquette." And with a younger generation that probably won't find their way into cars. I will be the one to be willing to let anyone in my supercar to teach them something new about cars. Cause keeping cars locked up in the future could result in many future car guys walking away from this hobby and doing something different.
it's Just respect other people's belongings. I realized that common sense is not so common. I usually ask the driver first if I could take a picture of their car and when I do I treat it like it has Covid lol meaning I keep my distance. I would clean my shoes before going into an expensive car like that..tho I have never had that privilege. hack I clean my shoes first even on a less expensive car. Great tips!!
your 8 tips are very true for the younger gen or any first time person attention to the car show. In every car show will always have some idiot, hater or jealous people who think it is ok to touch, enter the car without permission from owner and some of them will leave their trash, drink bottle on the top of your car when they are leaving. I am going to alot of car show and I think the simple solution for all of the problem is that either you stand around your car or not take your car to the car show. That is the way to doing it. A good behavior is rarely existing but still have it in this day since social media is boom and people want to doing something crazy to posting for get viewing
Honestly a valuable video tho. All it takes is 1 idiot to totally turn off an exotic car owner from ever showing up to a meet again and then everyone loses
It's amazing how common sense can be overwhelmed by excitement. I'm thinking about putting a link to this video on a QR Code / sticker / card. Instead of saying yes or no, I'll make them watch first, then ask again. 😉
LMAO P.J. is funny as hell while being dead serious. This should be shown on Saturday mornings in the place of where they used to play schoolhouse rock.
Ha LOL. Im sure you will all laugh at me. I just bought a new 23 LC500. And for me this was THE MOST I've purchased aside from my business or house. Im used to a Buick Park Ave, Honda Accord... so i bought this. Ordered it, waited. When it finally came i went to pick it up. TA DA!!!!! Here it is he said. I just stood there. LOL He was like are you going to get in it? I was so stupid. I felt like it wasn't mine. I treated it like this archane artifact. He had to remind me several times its yours. I know the LC is no Bugati. But for me it was.
This is hillarious, PJ! Almost flight attendant level of gestures. I feel a lot of your painful experience with idiots and that frustration is translated in this "instructional" video. 🤣
Preaching to the choir. Most people don’t respect their own car. Regardless if the car is a Bugatti or a Sonata, they’ll treat it like it’s a lawnmower. You can see where people have garage but prefer to park their car on the driveway or even on the street exposed to the element. They’re ok to store some Christmas ornaments inside the garage but have no problem parking their thousands of dollars worth of car outside. Even if you have money to afford the car, but it shows that you’re very careless with the car, therefore it’s safe to say that those people that you need to watch out for the violations that were mentioned on PJs PSA.
"Cars like this cost more usually than your entire lifespan of hard work put together" 💀💀💀 a very perfect line to tell someone who's dumb in every car show
I had this group of millennial shit heads standing way too close to my car and one guy ended up just putting his ass on my car and leaning on it until I told him get off. They didn't leave the area and still hung around my car uncomfortably close. Then they started talking shit about what great cars they had then they left in an old Camry.
If you notice someone else driving an exotic car down the road, it is not an open invitation to cut other cars off, drive erratically, and act with aggression while trying to catch up to the exotic car in a vein attempt to prove your tuned Miata is cool, too.
11:12 Very true. I always wash my hands when i get in my car. I ask others to do the same. Tan interior is not the easiest to keep clean but i do it and I'm proud of it.
5:25 LOL YES my glass is hard to keep perfect. Jesus when new peeps get in my car I always wash my car myself. I notice their hand prints ALL over my door, glass and roof! Everyone, all the time. WTF?! WHYYYYY Do you need to have your hands across America!?! Im forever cleaning your ass prints off my ride.
This is all great information. I simply avoid cars and coffee now because I hate it when people touch my car. One guy tried to jump in without asking and I had to tell him to get his ass out. 🙄
Be mindful when opening the door next to hi curbs. When in doubt await assistance from the owner as he stands outside insuring proper clearance between the door and sidewalk. 👍
Is there a test for watching this video? Seems perfect to test friends and dates to make sure they watched this video before rides 😂😂 This is hilarious
Sorry for blowing up your comment board. I had to chime in and i know i only spent 112k on my LC but i feel like I'm in the camp. Be it on the low end. Ha! 🤣 Respect other ppls stuff. The issue is your expecting someone to respect you and your things when they don't even respect their own. Its a gamble letting ppl in.
What's really sad is that you have to even make a video like this for people who actually think they're so much better/smarter than everyone else! And to valet's....DON'T USE THE GLASS TO OPEN AND CLOSE DOORS!!
