The Expanse 3x5 "Triple Point" REACTION 

It really hurt my feelings when Souther was killed.

This and the next I always count as one episode and are my absolute #1 from any audio-visual story.

Wow, for a moment there I almost forgot about the show as you were in the flow and just started dropping truths and wisdom about humanity. Love it and love that The Expanse can inspire such words!

This episode is great, but the next episode might just be one of my favourite single episodes of any show period! The interactions between Amos and Prax in this one are especially fascinating because you can see Prax become a little tougher. More vengeful, and more like Amos. But then in return Amos sees that and is saddened. He doesn't want that for a good person like Prax. Amos is getting a little more in touch with his heavily damaged emotional capacity, and in doing so he's becoming a little bit more like Prax, too.

One of My favorite Sci Fi shows. Cool that i can watch the highlights again on your channel. Thanks

The supporting cast really carried the episode, and they were amazing. I was thinking if a spinoff series was made and featured these crews of the Agatha King and the Hammurabi and their captains,Souther and Kirino, I'd definitely watch it.

I think this episode shows that Mao, in the end, is more of an "evil" character than Strickland. It's heavily implied that Strickland is one of these guys (like Cortazar in season 2) who has had a surgical procedure done that removes his capacity for empathy. He's literally physically incapable of caring about anyone else's life. Mao, on the other hand, definitely _does_ feel empathy, particularly for Mei since she reminds him of his own lost daughter, and that feeling _almost_ causes him to veer off and abandon this whole thing. But in the end he chooses to ignore those feelings in favor of greed and ambition. Strickland was always going to do evil things but Mao _chose_ to do evil things.

What I love about The Expanse is that it's a human story and usually for big positive change to occur, you need lots of different people at different points choosing to do the right thing. What happened on the Agatha King and that Mars ship is proof of that... Do what you know in your heart is right and if enough people follow suit we can change the world

I love how everyone is the hero, from their own perspective. Nguyen and Errinwright genuinely think they're saving Earth from Mars. Mao thinks he's saving the human race.

This show REALLY is that good, isn't it? Such a suspenseful and masterfully done episode. Can't wait till the next one! I love how you picked up on the web that the writers weave, a random character like Ensign Sinopoli's actions have huge consequences. I remember that someone once said that one of the overarching themes of The Expanse is that humanity in general acts just as crappy and selfishly as we do now, even in the future. BUT there are those individuals here and there, who essentially pull our collective chestnuts out of the fire by being good people and doing the right thing! I suppose I'd like to live in the Star Trek "let's all evolve past the concept of money and sing Kumbaya together" universe, but I think the Expanse's view might be the best we can realistically hope for.

Man. I remember watching these 3 episodes (4, 5 , and 6) and being completely absorbed.
