I will highlight on these fans (Arctic Bionix P140 and F140) and their performance.
In this video, I will share with you how molex supply power interms of voltage (5volts, 7volts and 12volts)
In addition, I will briefly talk about 3pin and 4pin fan connectors.

This is the way fan should be reviewed. But one thing you should show is how far the fan can push air.

I have a phanteks eclipse p400s case, what should i use the p140's as intake fans or the f140's because the front of the case is designed so it pulls air in from the top and the bottom through small dust filters?

it seems its one fine alternative in terms of performance to the noctua nf-a12x25 and Gentle Typhoon, its also cheaper but not as quiet

@yusufb.794 4 года назад
exam: I got a arctic freezer 34 esports duo (it includ 2 Arctic Bionix P140 Pwm 120mm fan.) and i get 2 Arctic Bionix P140 Pwm too for my case's upper mesh. So can i connect them 4 together ? is this harmful for motherboard or anything?
@KleoYan
@KleoYan 4 года назад
@@yusufb.794Ideally for your case, the freezer 34 esports duo, daisy chain 2 two fans together and plug to fan header on your motherboard that say CPU. This way you can make use of the pwn function that build on the motherboard. you can either control them via UEFI or software controler. As for the upper mesh or rear fan, you can daisy chain them to both. does not matter 120 or 140, then connect that header to the motherboard that says Chassis Fan.
@KleoYan
@KleoYan 4 года назад
@Yusuf B now in general, I will not practice to daisy chain more than 4 fans to one motherboard header. please note that I am talking about these Arctic fans here as they are rated at 0.15a or 0.25a ... most motherboard have a 1.0a header. some premium boards are of 2.0a, check your motherboard specification on how much is can provide. if you are unsure, I would say stick to two for one header, which will be on the safer side.

@@KleoYan how about 3 fans
@KleoYan
@KleoYan 4 года назад
@@claydohlite29 you can but I advise you to see your motherboard specification, see how much amp does a fan header provide. Next read the specification of your fan if you are not using the fan shown in this video. Lets say your motherboard fan header support up to 1.0a , if you use these arctic bionix fans : P140 (0.15a) you can connect up to max 6 fans F140 (0.25a) , you can connect up to max 4 fans. However having to say all these, I prefer to run only 2 fans on one header. reason being, I rather split the electrical load to other fan headers and not overdrive on just one fan header.

I dont understand, one is "airflow" and one is "pressure" fan. So, in case i want to use the fan for pulling air out of case, but i have thick filters on intake, which slow down air intake considerably, which should i use? I want it to create airflow, but it will be working agains some negative pressure.... its quite confusing :D Great review tho. Thanks.
@KleoYan
@KleoYan 4 года назад
Hi Allan, thanks for the feedback, ok the P140 are meant for AIO radiator (All In One water cooling solution) and the F140 are for case airflow. You wanted to have air intake in your chassis, therefore you will need airflow fans (Arctic Bionix F140 ) I do apologize at time 7:24 of my video, that's not a P140 it's a F140 as I wrote above when I was explaining. hope that clear up your confusion.

Hi, i am new in this. My question is : f140 i can use in my case 2 pcs in front and 1-2 pcs at top for air flow. Should i use 1 or 2 pcs of air intake at the top or none? Should i also include p140 fan in my case, or they are only meant for AIO liquid cooling radiators?
@KleoYan
@KleoYan 4 года назад
Hi David, thanks for the question :) ok the Arctic F140 are for case airflow and the P140 are for AIO radiators, some use the P140 as case fans, nothing is wrong with that but I would advise you to use F140 as case fans. Now I can't advise you on the placement of fans, you will need to try it out on your own and see which is best for your configuration. If you do have time, there are more explanation which I did in general on another video. please note this video is super lengthy ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Aj4fIPKELNI.html

Ideally you want airflow front to back and top to bottom, your intake fans should be dust filtered. The most important fan is the rear exhaust and should be your first priority. Heat rises which is why it's better to exhaust air at the top, an additional benefit is that exhaust fans at the top are blowing dust away from the case. Positive pressure is usually preferred as it helps to reduce dust build up, basically this is achieved by having more intake fans than exhaust (or bigger fans at the same speed ), don't forget to include the psu exhaust in your calculations. Air coolers are also best front to back, (or top to bottom in some cases). If you are using a radiator it is best to have it drawing fresh air in, so front mounted is best, you can top mount a radiator but then, ideally, you should use it as an exhaust if possible (with good intake fans and good positive pressure). I hope that this helps, have fun.

In the video the pressure fan has a lower pitched sound, is that accurate?
@KleoYan
@KleoYan 4 года назад
Yes they do..
@KleoYan
@KleoYan 4 года назад
Hi Thomas, yes the pressure fans do have a low pitch sound. The definition of noise on these fans depends on individual hearing. For me, I cannot tolerate the pitch sound at full rpm outside the case, but once I plug them into my chassis, I can hardly hear the pitch. Unless your chassis body is small, that might make the hum audible.
