I worked in cinema projection when this movie trailer came out. It blew my mind, even before I saw the film. It is one of the greatest stories ever told.
Here before the new matrix trailer.! Haven't heard this in ages it literally sent chills through my body I almost cried!! This is definitely the best trailer music ever. Wow brings back so many memories. No smartphones, no social media life was still fun without all those things.
I was lucky enough to hear this in a circus, of all places, and made me realise this was a track I could get my hands on. Didn’t take me 11 years, but I hear ya.
I was in high school and even though I had the cd for this and I also had it on mp3 I would let the intro for the dvd loop over and over on my tv, because it was just the first part of the song and then that was my favourite part memories,,
One of the most relevant and important perhaps film, since 1990 in his gender, absolutely a masterpiece revolutioning concept of distopic future and filmpgraphy at technical level, so this song played during that spetaculat and mysterious trailer with mystic atmosphere and tribal and futuristic sounds, was really wonderful
the theme of this had been running around in my head for days, and it was not till last night that I realized where I had heard it - thank you for posting
I wonder when they used this in the trailer for the Matrix, were they aware that this film is going to change cinematic history. I wish I had seen that trailer in cinemas. alas, I was just a dorky 11 year old when this film came out. It took me a few years to get what Matrix's plot was.
yes - they knew. People believed the Wachowski brothers because they were very convicing as early as the Story board stage. After seeing the final cut the producers were sure the film will be a massive hit
This fills me up with energy, makes me raring to take on the day, seize the moment and not procrastinate on anything. Keep going keep fighting, the world is yours for the taking. TAKE IT!!
The song is really good, dont get me wrong but unpopular opinion. I feel like from 3:45 to the end is the best bit. It just sounds so dreamy and soothing.
Can anyone find the Matrix trailer that features this music?? I remember it played during the Superbowl in 1999. It's been like...idk, a splinter in my mind since I thought about it the other day.
ya should have left it alone. the sister ruined it.... lol. smh. shrugs. oh well. but the first matrix will always be the best MATRIX!! song sadly never used in the movie.
