Because Warner Bros felt it necessary to remove the swearing as Daniel Radcliffe was still too close to Harry Potter a kids series. They literally dumbed down the movie. Radcliffe wanted to get away HP franchise so he was ecstatic to be in an R rated comedy. But WB removed everything cool about it. So it's What If in Merica... The F Word everywhere else.
