The Fabulous Gillette Executive Adjustable 💥 Is It The Ultimate Razor? 

Great shave, Mark. I didn't know Superdrug sold their own blades. Clearly the Gillette razor is the star of the show and if I wasn't happy with my own humble collection I'd add the Executive Adjustable to my wish list.

Hey Mark! I purchased a New Old Stock Gillette Executive with case and unused blade dispenser for just $90 +$9 shipping on ebay 2 years ago! I found another one used for $67! They are fabulous razors! Thanks for reviewing yours! JimG

Nice combo shave today, the history of the Erskine 's shaving brush original made from 1896 to 1957 , the color was red on top with white 16mm horse hair which I have one, awesome history on this, 🪒have a wonderful day eh 💈

I have a wood handle from apshaveco with a g8 max backbone knot from Pete Hendrix it’s fantastic and I have a second apshaveco brush on the way as well a 24mm pure bliss knot in the merit vintage cream and wine handle. Love the vintage handles

Hey Mark! Great shave with some terrific vintage gear. I was about 5 years old when your razor was marketed and I was remembering how we watched Sputnik go overhead at night and were so worried that the Russians were ahead of us. I was thinking surely you were mistaken about Eisenhower broadcasting by satellite in '58 - but you have it exactly right. I didn't realize how close behind the Russians we were in getting our own satellite up. Funny how strongly that stuck in my memory seeing Sputnik go by at night in '57 and worrying about the Russians.

Nice brush! Glad you are still using it. 😁👍🏼 The knot i put in it is a 21mm Silver Tip Badger. Also, it is 2 part epoxied into the handle. If you ever want to remove that knot, you have to be careful because there is also a couple American Nickle coins in the handle i did for height of the knot. I probably should've used plastic or something else, but that was the first brush I ever re-knotted and restored so I didn't know what I was doing.

Please allow me to begin by apologizing, i.e., I do see most of your videos or at least significant parts of each; however, I am often in somewhat of a rush and oftentimes fail to sign in order to make a comment, etc. I will work to do better going forward. I am pleased to see you looking well and suffice it to say, your smile at the end of the video speaks volumes...well done! By the way (BTW), our trip to the UK was terrific, filled with very friendly people and beautiful scenery. I am sorry that we could not get closer to Torquay; perhaps, on the next visit we will be able to shake hands and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea together. You are a good guy for sure. Greetings Mark, and I pray you are well. This is a most enjoyable video for me. As you know, while I believe there are many very fine razors out there, that beautiful and do a marvelous job, but for me, the Gillette Adjustable Razor are my hands down favorites. These Razor with the Personna Blades, give me unsurpassed shaves. As I have mentioned to you before… I have a Gillette Fat Boy (1959) that was my grandfather’s, and a Gillette Slim (1966) razor that were my Father’s, and those will always be my favorite razors. I also have 3 other Gillette Slims, and 1960 (my birth year) my wife got me for my birthday three years ago, a completely revamped razor from Razor Emporium. For me, those are will always be my most precious razors because of their sentimental significance to me, but wow, the Gillette Executive is unsurpassed in beauty, taking the world’s best razor (in my opinion), and giving it a gold plating, creating a stunningly beautiful piece of mechanical art. I do hope to get one of these razor in the near future. In the meantime, I will enjoy watching you shave with your Gillette Executive razors, and I’ll enjoy a Cuppa while watching. Great shave with a fantastic razor Mark.

I don't have the adjustable version of the Aristocrat, but my nonadjustable model is a very smooth razor. I classify it as a "one and done" razor for those who only want a single traditional DE razor. But, of course, I fell down the rabbit hole of collecting a long time ago. I have the Fatboy and subsequent Adjustables to keep it company.😅
