I have used alpha arbutin, niacinamide, retinol, mandelic acid cerave moisturiser all from ordinary for 2yrs but my face hyperpigmentation is still the same sometimes even darker . It's good for giving a smooth face though.
You may be using too many actives at the same time or too often. Or they may be too strong. You may want to use 2 or 3 products max a day. And use the others at night. If your face stings or gets irritated by too many actives, it will respond by making more melanin.

Hi, I'm thinking of using the kit but unsure if the melasma will come back worse. I eat sun block but cannot top up every 2 hours as I work in a busy environment and only get one break in 8 hours. Not sure what to do

I’ve been on this routine for 2+ years. For me it hasn’t made a single difference :( i believe we need internal medicine to really help with it. I use sun protection and sun screen everyday and apply every 4 hours . I wish there was a one and done solution :(
you may need to use a sunscreen with blue light protection / use makeup like concealer or foundation as the iron oxides protect from blue light which leads to pigmentation
What if youve used this for like a year and the hyperpigmentation around my mouth wont budge 😭 ive had it since childhood and it affects my confidence. I use cerave as s wash, then alpha arbuin then the snail mucin by corsx and then cerava moisturing cream , i use suncreen factor 50 and reapply during the day and at night i use retinol but its stilll here 😭
If u find out a good mineral and tinted sunscreen from Indian made for Indian skin tone wch doesn’t dry out(zinc n titanium are natural astringents hence da drying) ur skin,plz let me knw if u find out

I’ve been using that combo as well as Tretinoin on my face and body because I have a lot of scars that I have been really self conscious about, and I’ve been using these on my face for about 10 months I think, and actively using them on my body for about 3 months.. and I’m finally starting to see really good results on my body, and have had great results on the melasma on my face. So it works really well:) I also use Vit C in the morning and other serums and essences morning and night, especially geared towards hydration because I have really dry skin. I’d definitely give it whirl:) It does wonders♥️
