If Nkrumah did not deal with those issues (based on a commission's report). Of course, there were some politicking as well but was not the motive for the creation of the region at the time. In fact, Nkrumah met with Asantehene on that, not only that, there was a public communiqué indicating that the creation of the region was not an avenue not to pay homage where homage is due. In fact, Nkrumah acted and treated the matter purely as a national security concern (as things were becoming volatile - not to talk of the hatred asanteman had harbored toward the CPP and its government). If you read that commission's (I have forgotten the name) report based on which Nkrumah used to create the bono/ahafo region, you will rather clap for Nkrumah (although it is easy for people to misinterpret Nkrumah's action as a socialist strategy, it was indeed the only workable strategy to bring a common law and order for everybody for the newly created country Ghana). Asanteman was wrong at that time - the truth should be set straight. It saddens me that Otumfuo could not act professionally in those pronouncement he made against Nkrumah when the reality points to the opposite.

@@santicarsola9353 Your point is also genuine. What I have in mind is the South African or the Netherlands model. Like the minerals, etc would be National so that every region benefits from it. I believe Nzemaa is in the west so it shouldn't be a problem. As for Accra, they can rely on the taxes from industries, the ports and tourisms. In the Netherlands, every region have their own under ministers aside the normal national ministers. Well debatable though.
